Tragically beautiful and so sad. I think this may be one of the best (if not the best) movie Gary has ever done. The moment when he closes the grand and puts his ear to the top and starts to play Moonlight Sonata made me cry. Beethoven was such a great man with so much talent but so much turmoil in his life. It's a beautiful love tragedy that I highly recommend.

I just loved this film. It's so sweet and sad and beautiful and odd. There isn't one thing that makes you love it - it isn't one character... As a whole it just wriggles its way into your soul and makes you smile. Those who have seen it that I've talked to have all listed slightly different things that made them love it. In terms of how its put together, its just as lovely as how it makes you feel. Great emotive music, great sets, great actors, great shots/cinematography... Definitely highly recommended.
