Yes this is a comic book movie, so no don't expect much depth... but! Go into it with expectations to just have a great time and watch some comic book style martial arts and you'll have a blast. I loved this movie and have rewatched it twice already because it's something you can just relax to and get lost in without thinking much - which everyone needs once in while to de-stress. |

Full of action and thrilling drama, this film delivers as the blockbuster it was upon it's release. Best Actor award winner Sul Kyung-Ku plays the anti-hero detective Kang Chul-Joong, who by rather comedic chance comes across our villian, upright business man Chul Gyu-Hwan (Lee Sung-Jae). As detective Kang makes it his personal mission to bring down Chul, we are treated to a thrilling cat and mouse game between the two. This film delivers on most levels with it's mix of action, some dark comedy, and the police intrigue to make the capture. Recommended viewing for fans of the genre or Korean cinema. |
