Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (AVP 2)
As I'm a sucker for aliens and predators, this movie did not disappoint me. Especially since the predator in this story deploys some nice weaponry and tactics. This movie is not so much about story-lines as sheer brutal terror.

Back to the Future
One of the defining sci-fi movies of the 80s
78
Transformers 2007,  PG-13)
Transformers
The first movie, while aesthetically very pleasing, is quite banal.

It also clearly targets a teen audience - the same targetting, I suspect, that ruined the Fantastic Four movies for me. Filled with banalities and mediocre plots. It should be great for a younger audience though.

I will give it 3 stars due to the fact that its visual effects are so great that the overall experience is okay.
