My favorite movie of all times! There's nothing about the movie I dislike except I'd love for ALL of the deleted scenes to be put back in. Seeing Yoda for the first time makes it all the better!
The best fantasy movie ever! Yes, I said it -- it's even better than the LotR movies for me, mainly 'cause it's original. Val Kilmer rules in his role as Madmartigan.
I've seen this movie sooo many times, and I could definitely quote along w/ it. Excellent assembly of actors, and a perfect blend of fantasy, romance, and comedy.
A very smart comedy, where everything blends together seamlessly w/o feeling forced. Some of the gags used halfway through or near the end of the movie are set up almost from the beginning.
This is actually my favorite of the Indiana Jones movies, and Sean Connery's presence probably plays a large part of that. The first one is a classic and just barely falls behind this one, but this one definitely comes out on top.
Some of the special effect may show their age now, but most still hold their own. The story itself is whatever any boy would dream of -- going on an adventure seeking pirates' treasure.
Great swashbuckling film! Even though most of the actors aren't actually French, you really don't pay much attention to that. It has a great cast ensemble, too.
I laugh my head off everytime I see this movie. Don Knotts plays a similar character in pretty much every movie, but that doesn't make it any less good. Knotts as a gunslinger in the Wild West is a great combination.
Such a great movie. Tommy Lee Jones plays a Fed you love to hate and at the same time can't help but love. Ford plays Richard Kimball perfectly, a man framed for murder and trying to find out who did it.
Any movie w/ Antonio Banderas and Anthony Hopkins is gotta' be great, but put them in old Texas w/ some Zorro action, and you have a REALLY great combination.
Though I woulda' preferred the X-Men and Brotherhood teaming up to face Sentinels or Apocalypse, this was still a great movie and the best of the three to me.
Better than the third but not as good as the second, this sets up a different storyline for the X-Men. I missed some of the regulars like Gambit, but the movie was still excellent.
Matrix, Back to the Future, and the Transformers all had a baby, and this is it. :p It's a fun action flick w/ one girl trying to save the world from the future alien invasion.
One of my favorite fantasy movies out there. Having both Dennis Quaid and Sean Connery (even if he is just a voice) in it helps, and David Thewlis makes a good bad guy.
A total departure from typical Arthurian legend, but that's not a bad thing (especially in comparison to Excalibur). Having Sean Connery as King Arthur was perfect.
An endearing film that catches the essence and wonder of childhood more than the Disney version. Isaacs is on the road to being typecast, but he does make a good Hook.
