Original director, different, location, whole new cast for the third part of this hugely popular Korean franchise. Shu Qi makes for an endearing lead and though the martial arts takes a back seat to the quirky gangster comedy set up, MWIAG3 is an enjoyable bubblegum movie with some fine performances. Just a shame that the final act resorts to genre conventions. |
