Chris Doan (wihyena)

i couldn't tell if this movie wanted to be an action flick, or a tear-jerking drama. it seemed geared at families, but had too much swearing for anyone under 14 or 15. and why did haley joel osment have to grow up? this kid they got....his performance seemed entirely too forced. it's worth a watch, but not a keeper.

it's got tarantino-like, random, "shocking" violence...without much of a plot. and the entire feel of the movie is achieved with brooding soundtrack and loooooooooooooooooooong.........bouts...............of............staring. seriously...within every 5 minutes is a scene of no dialogue, overly loud, dire music and characters staring at each other.....often blankly. ugh. i expected...something more. i expect it'll be an instant cult classic. :P
