Inception 2010, PG-13)
Excellent film. It's almost impossible for me to say bad things about it. I just love when you are at the edge of your seat during the whole movie. I also see that it's hard to fully understand the movie the first time you watch it, because Hollywood is used to make brainless explosion silly movies. But is that difference that makes it better. Anyways the acting, the script, the visuals, the twists, and the score played together perfectly to give us this masterpiece. |

The Matrix 1999, R) |

| 3 |
Marvel's The Avengers 2012, PG-13)
All your anticipation will be rewarded. Everything worked perfectly, every character, every line, it was all worth it. There was even a good timing for some comic relief. Tony Stark is a scene stealer every time, yet the movie had a good balance between every character and just seeing them interact was really entertaining. The visual effects and action sequences are from the best I've seen and Hulk was actually way cooler than I expected him to be. What else can I say? Go check it out for yourself! |

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 2002, PG-13)
The journey continues and the story gets more interesting and thrilling as the characters progress in their adventure. The soundtrack and the visuals stood up again, the action scenes are bigger and we get introduced to Gollum thanks to the great performance of Andy Serkis. |
|
| 5 |
The Dark Knight 2008, PG-13)
Finally got the chance to watch it. And yes its like everybody says an awesome movie and the best super hero movie ever. Heath Ledger's Joker steals your attention more than Batman himself, one of the best villains of all time. I wasn't expecting Two-Face here and was also satisfying. There`s one point at the movie when you are the edge of your seat just watching how all turns out. Good acting, good script and one of my favourite movies. |

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 2001, PG-13)
An epic and touching adventure that stands out from other fantasy movies. Great characters, inspiring script, perfect soundtrack and outstanding visual effects. Only Peter Jackson can give us a 3 hour film (Extended Version) that still leaves us wanting more. The start of a franchise you won't forget. |

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World 2010, PG-13)
This is one goes to my favorite movies. First, the visual effects and the editing are AMAZINGLY DONE. They captured the escence of a comic and a videogame together. The cast was perfect, even Michael Cera, who I normally don't like. Also, I haven't laughed so hard with a movie in a very long time. Because it has a no sense humor that I'm really into. There are a lot of things to say, but it's an undescriptable film that you just got to see for yourself. If you enjoy videogames, this is your fanboy fantasy. In one word EPIC |

Fight Club 1999, R)
With the great performances from Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. It deals with a complex character and a great devolopment to it. The story is always interesting, cleverly narrated and has one of the best endings I've seen, which completely changes the way you see the film. A must see spectacular and original movie |

| 9 |
Shutter Island 2010, R)
It's different than your average movie, and that's what makes it so good. The cinematography, the music and the cast were excellent. You really get into the character and all the mistery of the island. Even being more dialogue than action I wasn't bored. And I just gotta say that the twist at the end was brilliant. Don't wanna give spoilers just go watch it, it's the best movie you could find right now. |

The Bourne Ultimatum 2007, PG-13) |

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 2011, PG-13)
Well, well,,,everything must come to an end. And I'm glad it was one hell of a ride. This last film is the best one in the series, full of emotion until the final battle. The acting was great, and this time around is all about Harry and Voldemort. Visually stunning and action packed, this is the perfect and nostalgic finale of the beloved series. |

| 13 |
Iron Man 2 2010, PG-13)
Better than the first. Great script, acting, visuals. It's just too good, full of entretainment and some hilarious moments. Also liked the references to the upcoming Avengers, hot Scarlett Johansson...and so on. In conclussion a must see movie, the best way to start summer and Iron Man already beat Spider-man as the best Marvel superhero. |

Limitless 2011, PG-13)
The biggest surprise of the year, so far. Limitless is a clever and interesting thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Bradley Cooper was really good as this character, and the whole plot was well developed with a great script. This is one of those movies that you keep thinking about. Highly recommended. |

Iron Man 2008, PG-13) |
|
| 18 |
Thor 2011, PG-13)
I can't believe they made me buy that Thor, this mythological god lives in the same world as Iron Man. But they did a great job for this movie to fit in. The special effects are amazing, the movie starts a like it's gonna be a typical action movie but then turns out to be pretty badass and ocassionally funny too. The cast was perfect in my opinion. And it's an entertaining movie and the perfect summer starter. Can't wait for The Avengers |

X-Men: First Class 2011, PG-13)
The finest X-Men movie to date. It's smarter, more thrilling and exciting. The cast was perfect. There's more chemestry and connection between the characters. Which made you care more about them. And I really enjoy the style of director Matthew Vaughn, who proved to be good after Kick-Ass. Proving that you don't need Wolverine to have an amazing X-Men film. He has a pretty short and funny cameo though. |
|
| 27 |
Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2011, PG-13)
One really, really great prequel. I haven't seen the originals, but I need to right now. This movie works really good, capturing the apes like never before. The CGI looked nice and every expression was perfect, you actually get to feel their emotions. The movie also had a good storyline, great character development and a pretty cool climax at the end. If you're looking for a clever sci-fi or action film, this is a must see. |
|
| 28 |
Fast Five 2011, PG-13)
This could easily be the best guy flick of all time. The setting and the cast is great, we get to see a lot of familiar faces return and the action and adrenalyne feeling is so good it's ridiculous. It's also funnier and I liked the change from street racing to heists. Anyways the best one so far, this is a must see with a lot of friends and I'm patiently waiting the sixth installment. |

Captain America: The First Avenger 2011, PG-13)
Marvel you don't stop to amaze me. It has a great story and script that was adapted perfectly to it's period setting. There are some good performances here, and every one proved to be there for the right reasons. I just love how all this films are like a big puzzle and are all connected to each other, when all of them are equally good. I really liked the ending too, and stay for the credits you don't wanna miss the teaser for The Avengers. |

| 44 |
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 2011, PG-13)
Johnny Depp is back as captain Jack Sparrow, and he's charm and charisma are still there after four movies. In this new adventure they're looking for the Fountain of Youth. And it' a great journey where we find some new characters. Penelope Cruz was good in her role, she has good chemestry with Depp. Blackbeard was a badass. And I liked the action scenes with the mermaids, they looked great. Is the come back worth it? I'll say yes, and I would like to see the new trilogy. |

Jurassic Park 1993, PG-13) |

| 46 |
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 2010, PG-13)
The darkest entry yet. I liked the visual effects and the amazing art direction and cinematography. Plus the acting has improved. The penultimate film is also one of the best, with lots of action, suspense, and even some horror elements that keep your attention until the end, which leaves you wanting to see part 2 even more. So it's a high recommended film for Potter fans and fans of good movies in general. |
|
| 47 |
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 2010, PG-13)
Probably the best videogame adaptation ever. With an entretaining plot, good effects and overall good action and even some laughs, Prince of Persia is a great movie that actually surpassed my expectations. I liked the chemestry of the leads and the fact that the movie wasn't predictable at all. The whole back in time thing was also good. Maybe the only "too much" things were the exaggerated stunts, but considering its based on a game, that makes it faithful, I guess. Anyways good option to see on theaters and I hope it's the start of a new saga ala Pirates of the Caribbean. |

Kick-Ass 2010, R)
One of the most surprsingly good movies I've ever seen. Packed with violence and some comedy, works perfectly as the kind of movie it is. The cast, the soundtrack, there was not a single moment where I was bored. Even with the ridiculous costumes you care about the characters as much or more than a Marvel or DC superhero. In resume just BADASS. And Lyndsy Fonseca is f***ing HOT |
|
| 54 |
The Hangover 2009, R) |
|
| 55 |
Tron Legacy 2010, PG)
This is one of that movies that you remember for years and years. Amazing special effects, good performances and great soundtrack by Daft Punk. The 3D is good to get you more into the story and this fantastic world. A must watch for fans of the original movie and sci-fi films, and a great way to end the year. |

|
| 57 |
A Scanner Darkly 2006, R) |

| 58 |
Clash of the Titans 2010, PG-13)
Great movie. Simple plot, but well done that made it so enyojable. First it's visually stunning, altough a lot of it is CGI. Then we got the action that's also pretty cool. I think it's a must see in theaters (Not sure if 3-D will make it even better) Well, I like greek mythology so this was obviously a must see for me. |
|
| 59 |
Kill Bill: Volume 1 2003, R)
It's impressive how a straigth forward story managed to be so captivating. The movie is violent and extremely bloody but still visually great. It also had one of the best fight sequences I've seen and an amazing soundtrack to fit every moment. A badass action movie about revenge that stands out of others. |
|
| 60 |
Chronicle 2012, PG-13)
This is an outstanding movie. And surprisingly the found footage style was really effective. It's fun, with likeable characters and you get to connect with them, that's why the unexpected events that follow give it a tone of emotion and tension. Really cool film with a great story that feels realistic despite having characters with super powers. |
|
| 61 |
The A-Team 2010, PG-13)
One of the best TV adaptation movies I've seen. The main cast it's perfect, specially Sharlto Copley who is brilliant as Murdock. The action is really great, thrilling and well developed. I've loved the series as a kid, and this movie manages to bring an ideal modern version. So it's a highly recommended movie if you're into action flicks. |

Howl's Moving Castle 2005, PG)
Visually spectacular and beatifully artistic. This imaginative tale even surpasses Spirited Away to my surprise. Hayao Miyazaki has a stylish and unique way to show his vision, and his characters are amazing and really deep. The story is not that easy to follow, but trust me, you'll just let yourself go with it. |

Toy Story 3 2010, G)
Amazing return from the toys giving memories back, great since the begining to the ending credits. It's one of Pixar's best, there's good plot, humor, emotion, excitement. It got it all. |

Shrek Forever After (Shrek 4) 2010, PG)
The final chapter of the Shrek franchise had everything it needed. Better animation, fun story, and good ending. One of the things I liked the most was that they return to places like the dragon tower. There were also a couple of new characters and the movie was like rediscovering the story again. Also they did a good work with the collage at the ending credits with a little bit of every Shrek movie. So this is probably my favorite of the sequels. Funtastic! |

Cars 2 2011, G)
The sequel improves a lot over the first. Tons of action and beautiful scenery from all around the world, along with an exciting spy story. And while Mater isn't exactly my favorite character, they made the movie really entertaining and fun to watch. Good for kids and adults. Its' Pixar, enough said. |
|
| 86 |
Fantastic Mr. Fox 2009, PG)
First I'd like to start saying that I've read the book back when I was a kid, so I was excited to see they were making this movie. I think they made a good decision by making it stop motion. It had that old school feeling that I really liked. The script was great and the voice cast worked perfect. Started a little slow, but as it progressed with a sarcastic humor and original storytelling, got more entertaining. I really enjoyed what they did here but maybe not everyone will understand it. Recommendable for fans of the book and stop motion animation. |
