Batman Begins 2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins
I'd been waiting years to see a Batman movie as accurate and mindblowing as this one; and they couldn't have handpicked the cast any better with the exception of Katie Holmes possibly.

Everything about it surpassed anything put in a Batman movie before and this is why this is in an entire league of its own. The production team here know exactly what we Batfan's want and they do more than just deliver here in this masterpiece.

Every aspect of the movie was fantastic, and I'm so glad it wasn't another "throw some instant crotch shots in the first 15 seconds with no explanation of why he is Batman" movie.

I'd seen Christian Bale in The Machinist before this and the thing that had me hooked on what I'd seen was his dedication to what has to be done. If you look at the size of him in The Machinist and then the size of him in Batman Begins, that's only a small taste of his dedication.

This is the best Batman movie of all time and my favourite movie of all time, and I have nothing but immensely high hopes for the sequel "The Dark Knight" in 2008.

American Psycho 2000,  R)
American Psycho
There is absolutely nothing I dislike about this movie, everything is perfect. I feel that the fantastic 80's themed soundtrack deserves a mention here as it brings the movie more to life and gets you more involved in what the movie is all about.

This is easily one of my favourite movies of all time with a performance from Christian Bale which is VERY close to his best as the fantastic Patrick Bateman. The supporting cast are fantastic aswell, particularly Josh Lucas and Justin Theroux, and even Bill Sage.

The materialistic impressions of Wall Street in this movie are hugely arrogant and just as entertaining and psychopathic. This is one of the most quotable movies from all time with a number of highly entertaining speeches and some amazing diverse acting.

This movie will never be rated less than 5/5 from me.

Batman 1989,  PG-13)
Batman
A superb movie in many different aspects, Michael Keaton looks so distant as Batman and pulls it off very well. Also at the time there was no better role for the Joker than Jack Nicholson (Although Robin Williams would've been good) one of my firm favourite movies and well worth watching over and over.

American Beauty 1999,  R)
American Beauty
The nail in the head of why Kevin Spacey is both hilarious and immense at what he does. He has such an intellectual quality only possessed by him throughout each of his movies. It's so refreshing to watch and he keeps getting better and better.

So turn out the light when you come back to bed honey!

Good Will Hunting 1997,  R)
Good Will Hunting
I am literally godsmacked.. I can't find enough words to say how extraordinarely amazing I thought this was. Everything about it was absolutely fantastic and it's full of amazing performances.

After re-watching this, something can make way in my top 10 of all time to make way for it, it really is that amazing. Drenched with compassion from start to finish it's not one to be missed.

I'll also add that I thought Matt Damon was very unlucky not to win an oscar for this performance, this is his best performance of all time.

Batman Returns 1992,  PG-13)
Batman Returns
Equally as fantastic as the first movie in Tim Burtons creation of Batman movies. This one you can clearly see the Tim Burton influence coming through with the whole christmas thing. A few stronger actors in this including Christopher Walken and Danny Devito, another of my favourites which I have loved for as long as I can remember.
7
The Usual Suspects 1995,  R)
8
Equilibrium 2002,  R)
9
Terminator 2: Judgment Day 1991,  R)
