Stephen King's It
"Ha Ha Ha! You are priceless child, you cannot kill me for I am eternal, I am devourer of worlds and of CHILDREN" ! "I am everything you ever were afraid of " !

My favorite horror movie of all time ! Ironically enough, I think it was my fear of clowns growing up that drew me to this movie. Great cast, good storyline, my favorite Stephen King adaptation. Tim Curry was brilliant ! I hear there's talk of a remake to be released in theatres for 2010, I hope they bring Tim Curry back and give it an R rating to step up the horror. Hopefully it will do this one some justice.

The Lost Boys 1987,  R)
The Lost Boys
"My own brother, a Goddam Shitsucking Vampire,... well, you just wait ' til mom finds out about this ! "

My favorite vampire movie of all time! True 80s horror classic. A perfect blend of horror with the right amount of humor. The look, the feel, the rebelious teenage vampiristic vibe was perfect for that time. It set a cult classic standard in which movies like Buffy, The Craft, The Covenant, and Twilight have tried to match, but to no avail.
6
Fright Night 1985,  R)
Fright Night
One of my favorite vampire movies of all time. Cheesy vampire movies from the 80s are the absolute best and this one is no exception. They just don't make movies like this anymore. Good storyline, good acting, good humor and I loved the cast. Fright Night is a true 80s classic, an unsung gem in the horror genre.

Back to the Future
"You build a time machine... out of a Dolorian" ?

One of my favorite movies of all time. A true classic for those of us who grew up in the 80s. Great cast and an even better storyline. One of those movies that everyone should have in their collection.

The Crow 1994,  R)

Dance of the Dead 2008,  R)
Dance of the Dead
Zombies are coming to the Prom, and it's up to the dateless geeks and outcasts (sci-fi club, the redneck bully, the guy and girl who were dumped the day before, the stoner rockband and the war happy gym coach) to stop them.
Although this movie came out in 2008 it is quickly turning into one of my favorite zombie movies of all time. My favorite scene is in the graveyard when the zombies start busting out from their graves. I like the look, the feel, the music, and the simple storyline which seemed to work just right.
Zombies + Nerds + the Prom = Underground Classic !

Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Queen of the Damned 2002,  R)
Queen of the Damned
Great movie about a vampire named Lestat (Stuart Townsend) who awakens in modern times and becomes a rockstar of all things. He is then accepted by millions of fans but not by other vampires as he begins admitting through his lyrics that he is indeed a vampire and that others should come out of hiding and expose themselves as well. Needless to say this does not sit well with the others as all vampires are to keep themselves out of the public eye and live only as mythical creatures to the public. All this feuding and fighting stirs up the re-awakening of the Queen mother of all vampires Akasha (played by the late Aaliyah) who decides she wants Lestat to be her king and eventually kill as many people as they can, except Lestat isn't too crazy about the idea, but how do you turn down your Queen and live to tell about it?
One of my favorite vampire films of all time. It's dark, gothic, sexy and with a killer soundtrack from bands like, Disturbed, Static X and Jonathan Davis of Korn.

The Family Man 2000,  PG-13)
The Family Man
It's a Wonderful Life with a touch of A Christmas Carol though I don't consider this to be a Holiday film as I can watch this all year long.

Wall Street big-shot, Jack Campbell (Nick Cage) is at the top of his professional game with little time for anything or anyone but himself. His high - profile,fast-paced lifestyle drastically changes one snowy Christmas night when he unwittingly stumbles into the middle of a grocery store holdup and in a bold display of self-preservation disarms the gunman (Don Cheadle) who ends up being an angel on a mission to show Jack what his life would've been like had he chosen love instead of fortune. The next morning he wakes up in a suburban New Jersey bedroom lying next to Kate, his college sweetheart (Tea Leoni) who he left in order to pursue his career, and to the horrifying discovery that his former life no longer exists. As he stumbles through this alternate middle class suburban life, Jack begins to feel strangely comfortable in this new role of loving husband and father to two children. Jack finds himself at a crossroad, where he must choose between his solitary high-powered career or a lower income life with the woman he loves. Also starring Harve Presnell and Jeremy Piven.

One of my favorite movies of all time!

The acting was really good. This to me is one of the few films in which Nicholas Cage really shines and shows his true acting skills which we usually don't see in his other films (probably because of his poor choice of roles). The supporting cast was wonderful. Tea Leoni looks exceptionally beautiful in this film and Director Brett Ratner did a great job.
