This is absolutely a cult classic of all time, one of the best film ever directed be Kubrick. I don't really understand it all 'cause I'm not God. Do you? Dave...
The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club. Third, if someone says stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. Fourth, two guys to a fight. Fifth, one fight at a time. Number six, no shirts, no shoes. Seventh, fights will go on as long as they have to. And lastly, if this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.
I feel lost, not at the highways but within Lynch's mind. With he's weird, disturbing & intelligent thought-provoking dream work, this became one hell of the masterpiece of all time.
Depressing, powerful & mind blowing. There's a lot of memorable moments here, especially the raw octopus eating, one-shot fight scene & the twisted ending which are the best. Simply the best from Park Chan Wook.
This is one of my most view films. Dark, thrilling, intense and well scripted. It gets me every time, even with countless of views. This is also one of the best comic adapted films ever made. Ideas are bulletproof.
A masterpiece! One of the best cult film by Alejandro Jodorowsky! Avant-Garde visual & concept, surrealistic, psychedelic, from religions to politics, humanize existence to imaginary visions. Love it or hate it! Besides me love it, John Lennon, Marilyn Manson & Dennis Hopper loves it too.
This is a slow & quiet story that touching the deepest of your heart from the start until the end. It's too bad the OSCAR-ers prefer the adventure story of a boy from the slum became millionaire than this abnormal pretty boy's curious case. The attractiveness of Cate Blanchett is absolutely undeniable, I just couldn't imagine it, I would like to grow old with her too, she's just like a perfect lady there, with wrinkles & broken bones. Superb job on editing, make-up & 3D SFX, and of cause, there is lots of details in every scenes that you shouldn't miss out. I've to hold my pee until the end so that I can finish the movie without losing any of it's best. It's like the film is talking to you directly, thanks to the narrator. Typical nice job of David Fincher, with some interesting characters & editing, as per usual. Dig my words, go feed your curiosity right now! You'll ain't gonna regret this. Trust me, over my dead body. And finally I have to shout out loud, I love you David Fincher!
A rare good stuff & brilliant comedy from Thailand, funny & beautiful in every way of it. The moral of this film is, don't stop chasing your dreams even if it's surrealistic, it's never too late for everything if it's still exist. Cheers! This is for those who loves "Amelia" & "The Science of Sleep".
Immensely dark, gothic & intense which was underrated. A brilliantly fresh & original idea for a Sci-Fi flick over that time, which was really really awesome. A re-watch after all these years, it still shine from all others Sci-Fi blockbusters.
Sometimes, serious matters should be looking in a different way or a new perspective, perhaps in a funny way. Again, Coen brothers, BRAVO! You guys are stoned! I mean, cursed. Anyway, pass me that fucker!
Jarmusch put a spell on you with it's gritty, simplistic & idiosyncratic indie cult film about boredom & highway hipster. The idea starting with a 30mins short film along with John Lurie, later expanded with part 2 & part 3 that became this full length masterpiece. With his new wave indie film direction, it become a heavy influence to Coen Bros, Spike Lee & such later.
A film that will make you cherish life even more and plenty of good advises to parents. It's utterly shocking, disturbing, disheartening & intimidating with A+ production, editing, cinematography, soundtracks & scripting. The best film I've watched in 2011 and the best vengeance plot since Old Boy.
