My Favorite Movies

Sheer "Perfection"! This movie was an intricate web that keeps your mind processing long after it's over. Natalie Portman was just flawless. I felt her every emotion as if it were my own...the essence of everything I look for in a cinematic experience!!!

Words cannot describe the love i have for this movie. excellent concept, acting, and music score.

Beautifully inspired! this movie encompasses all the feelings of listening to The Beatles' musical stylings while adding equally striking visuals. it is intelligent, complex, poetic, and psychedelic. also, like a Beatles' song, there were some parts that left me a bit baffled (but mostly in a good way). the cast was wonderful and talented. I don't think the movie has a weak storyline as some suggest, but rather one that depends upon lyrical interpretation, which in some spots requires a little abstract thinking. I would definetly recommend watching this one (preferably trashed ;).

Original and divine! the director draws on many sources (history, fairy tales, mythology, psychology) to create this darkly imaginative and inspired film. it is really a work of pure art.

Multi-plotted and original...no loose ends left untied. just awesome!

Epic...my favorite of the three. the best series of movies ever made with quite a lot to say about the essence of humanity. one of the few times the sequels didn't suck.

I adore this movie. Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor have perfect chemistry in this creative tale with a little of everything; love, humor, tragedy and insanity wrapped up with perfectly utilized remastered hits from the 80's and early 90's. masterfully done and surprisingly moving!

thoroughly brilliant! if you like to think outside the box...jump on board this psychological ride. loved it and don't know anyone who didn't!

Great movie...I love Jim Carrey in dramatic roles. he proves his scope yet again in this thriller involving numeric obsession. I definetly recommend this to anyone who loves to think and analyze. I also suggest watching it more than once.

A better action film I have never seen! Christian Bale rules in this role (and in pretty much any other I have seen him in). This movie is so bad-ass that I would seriously question the taste of anyone who doesn't think so.

Incredible. Edward Norton delivers a flawless performance rivaled only by his past roles in Primal Fear and The Score. Paul Giamatti's portrayal of a conflicted officer torn between the choice of power and his own moral code sets off just the right amount of intrigue. Jessica Biel's character, believable and subdued, delivers an outstanding execution of a dutchess forced to choose between her societal rank and true love. the plot is alluring and well tied and the effects are subtle adding an element of realism. two thumbs way up...definetly a must-see!

One of my absolute favorites. Intellect, suspense, humor, love and beauty in a perfectly inspired package. I could watch this anytime.

This film is quite underrated in my opinion. the acting is excellent. eerie and a real thought-provoker with a legitimate twist. if you ever get an interest in watching this...go with that feeling!

AWESOME! Rob Zombie's cutting edge production encompasses everything you wish for when you go to a haunted house (in movie form). top notch horror flick and as for the ending...the best! can't wait for his version of "Halloween".

Pulled me right in to a world upheaval in the ultimate confrontation between good and evil! I strongly recommend the extended versions of all three movies.

A personal favorite although most people i know don't like it as much as i do. A moving tribute to life's trail of ups and downs. Drew Barrymore's special blend of humor and believability never disappoints!

Dane Cook is hilarious. His body language alone cracks me up!

From the moment I finished watching this movie, I knew I would be forever interested in anything starring Edward Norton. Richard Gere also shines in what is, in my opinion, the best role of his career. simply astonishing...still a favorite!

Rock on! the original Halloween still retains it's original charm, but Rob's twisted version is sick as hell!!!
Rob Zombie is now officially my favorite horror director. he always manages to tie in suspense and terror with the perfect amount of gore and fun (not to mention great casting taste). I have no doubt that his future films will hold up to the standard that I have placed upon him.

I was probably a little too young the first time I saw this, but even then I thought it was awesome! Anthony Hopkins is one brilliant (yet demented) psycho and Jodie Foster is his perfect compliment!

Awesome movie! some of the story-telling and visuals were largely exaggerated and symbolic, but it really helps this film stand out against the typical war movie backdrop. it is an incredible historical tale told in a very artistic way. the graphics were cool, but the depiction of the story itself left me feeling inspired!

I don't even know how many times I've seen this one in my life. this movie has some unusually mature themes for a kid's movie, giving it several dimensions which are appreciated on different levels depending on the age of the viewer. for me, this one is just classic :)
