The ORIGINAL - not the remake. This one scares the hell out of me every time I watch it. When they say they don't make them like this any more, they mean it. Chills, suspense - it's in here. Really scares you without having to be gory and bloody. |

Glenn Close at her best ! Paired with John Malkovich as a duo in Pre-Revolutionary France playing games with both hearts and minds of those around them. Fantastic story, great dialogue - just ignore Keanu Reeves and you have a good movie. |

Interesting blend of period piece with a modern techno-type of soundtrack. Johnnie Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle as two highwayman chewing up some scenery with Alan Cumming doing what he does best - stealing the film. Liv Tyler playing the obligatory love interest. |
