I will never again be able to watch this movie with all the lights out. Everyone involved with this film outdid themselves - something I believe is evident most of all in its lasting ability to terrify its audiences nearly 90 years after its debut. One of my absolute favorite horror films. |

Despite complaints from many zombie fans, I believe this is one of the more true-to-heart depictions of the undead. Genuinely eerie in its determination to uphold tradition, LDAMM takes audiences on a fear-riddled journey thru the Italian countryside, all the way to film's greatest stage for terror: a poorly-staffed hospital in the middle of the night. The special effects team did a great job, as well. I was thoroughly terrified. |
