The flavor of the scenes makes you want to grab another bite. A bunch of greedy guys "snatching" a diamond from each other, and just when you thought you knew what was all about, the dog becomes the hero!!! Everytime I see a movie about many stories related I might say they should be made like this one!!!

Irony, sarcasm, the mischiveous mind... didn't I say before how I love this kind of personalities?
This is one of the best works from Malkovich!!! Also is about one of my favorite directors: Stanley Kubrick.
It's about a real event that happened before Stanley died. He was shooting Eyes wide shut, and Alan Conway somehow, someway, always convinced people that he WAS Stanley Kubrick!!! So he got into a few trouble, but he also got meals and drinks in the most fancy restaurants and high society parties in England. Funny thing is how the director of this movie plays along with the music from Stanley Kubrick's movies!!! It's great!!!
Of course, you'll be able to understand a lot of details if you watched Stanley Kubrick's movies before watching this one.
I totally recommend it. If you are a Kubrick's fan (who isn't) you'll love it too.

This movie is undoubtedly one of the best films ever done about the philosophy and different points of view, use and application of life, death, society, karma, evolution, technology, stupidity, government, religion, neccesity, belief and disbelieve and finally... the way how life, feelings, time and people are supposed to connect with each other, no matter what we do. Of course, everything is a dream narrated by his creator (dreamer...) And, as Poe said, and I quote: "All we are is but a dream within a dream..."
Beautifully hand painted, frame by frame by more than a dozen different artists. Painted frame by frame over the originally filmed background. It gives us a scent that I haven't seen on any other movie before. Totally recommended for those of you who want to know more about black or white, about this or that, about this life or the past, maybe the next, about when, who, and what the hell we are here for... NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO CAN'T DAY DREAM ABOUT LIFE... NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO DOESN'T REALLY USE THE BRAIN TO TRY TO THINK OF THE MEANING OF LIFE AND REJOICE IN THEIR RESEARCH...
