Du Rififi Chez les Hommes (Rififi)
Jules Dassin's masterpiece, Du rififi chez les hommes is a tremendous noir with masterful performances and beautiful photography all of which contribute in making it one of the best heist flicks of all time. The half and hour silent robbery is perhaps the best heist sequence ever shown on screen, sparse dialogues and no music create simmering tension in Rififi which really shouldn't be missed.

Following 1998,  R)
Following
Christopher Nolan take a bow, made with a budget of around 5000 $ Following is an astounding thriller, the non linear storyline like Memento seems even more clever after the end. One of the greatest directorial debuts and perhaps Nolan's best work, Following is an extremely fast paced thriller which will leave you glued to your seat.

Rope
Master of suspense creates tension like never before in Rope. The direction was superb specially the 10 minute uninterrupted shots were supremely intelligent. John Dall and Farley Granger were great with James Stewart who is always so.

The Proposition
Unbelievable cinematography in this 'bleak poetry' which will stay with you for a long time. The Proposition is without doubt among the finest westerns and makes me wonder why John Hillcoat has directed only two films till date.

Stunning film noir, Touch Of Evil has some cinematography, amazing indeed. Orson Welles is truly a genius both as an actor and as a director, some of the camerawork was just astounding. One of the most dark and captivating flicks ever made, Touch Of Evil is a masterpiece.
