The Count of Monte Cristo
It was so like the book and I absolutely love Gerard Depardieu's work and he fit perfectly for the role of Edmond Dantes. Also, Dumas is my fav. author and seeing one of his most famous works come to life was amazing.

Some Like It Hot 1959,  Unrated)

The Phantom of the Opera 2005,  PG-13)
The Phantom of the Opera
I first heard the opera when I was nine and I fell in love with the music and story line. Only four/five years later they make it in a movie and you have no idea how happy I was. Even though the voices of the leading actors aren't all full out opera voices, they get across the emotions of the character much better.

Limelight
"What is there to fight for? Everything! Life itself! Isn't that enough? To be lived, suffered, enjoyed! What is there to fight for? Life is a magnificent thing. Even to a jellyfish." It brought tears to my eyes. So much truth in those words. "Time is the great author. It always writes the perfect ending." The perfect ending to the truth that lies within us all.
