Gladiator 2000,  R)
Gladiator
My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.
2
Pulp Fiction 1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction
Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece. A true work of art. This flick had a domino effect and all the pieces landed perfectly. A superb cast that delivered in every scene. A script that had imposing dialog. Now you will have to excuse me, I have to meet someone at Jack Rabbit Slims.
3
Clerks 1994,  R)
Clerks
Clerks Trivia:
The film is in black-and-white and roughly edited due to a budget of $27,575. To acquire the funds for the film, Smith sold his extensive comic book collection in 1993, maxed out ten credit cards with $2000 limits, dipped into his college fund and spent insurance money for a car he and Jason Mewes lost in a flood.
4
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back 1980,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
I love Empire Strikes Back, but I am simply using it as a place holder for the whole Star Wars Saga. How could I put into words a story that started in 1977 and crossed generations? I am and will always be a FanBoy!
5
Sin City 2005,  R)
Sin City
Frank Miller's Sin City jumps off the pages and right on to your screen! The artwork comes to life as if Frank Miller drew it himself. Robert Rodriguez is a genius not only for the direction of this movie but for the visual techniques he created!
6
Almost Famous 2000,  R)
Almost Famous
The best coming-of-age movie on film. IM a huge Jason Lee fan and although his role was minor, it was perhaps his best performance. Kate Hudson stole my heart and made me fall in love with her. If I only learned how to play the guitar....
7
Sling Blade 1996,  R)
Sling Blade
Sling Blade was Billy Bob Thornton greatest achievement. His acting was Flawless. Thornton was robbed (IMO) of an Oscar in 1996, losing to Geoffrey Rush. I demand a recount!
8
Monty Python and the Holy Grail 1974,  PG)
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Most people either love or hate Monty Python. Their's usally no middle ground.

If your one of those that fall in the hate'em catogory, than your an empty-headed animal food trough water! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
9
American History X 1998,  R)
American History X
I am sitting here trying to think of words to use to describe this film. No matter how hard I twist my brain, words do this movie no justice. An in your face, brutal statement on racism in America. A must see.
Edward Norton was nominated for an Oscar in 1999 for his performance.
10
Saving Private Ryan 1998,  R)
Saving Private Ryan
Best WWII movie ever made. This movie demands your attention from the start and doesn't let go. Godspeed Brothers...a salute to all WWII vets.
11
Death Proof 2007,  R)
Death Proof
Cool Girls, Loaded Guns and Fast Cars. What else in life is their? A great Tarantino flick.
12
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 1998,  R)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Based on Hunter S. Thompson book of the same title. To bad this is not a site on writers and journalism. I could write for hours about this man.
Directed by Terry Gilliam of the Monty Python fame and staring Johnny Depp and Benizio Del Toro. True to the book this movie will take you places you never knew existed and leave you in disbelief.
13
The Matrix 1999,  R)
The Matrix
What is the Matrix? Control. The Matrix is a computer-generated dream world built to turn a human being into this. *Morpheus holds up a battery*

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003,  PG-13)

Conan the Barbarian
"Conan,what is best in life"?

"To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women".
18
Apocalypse Now 1979,  R)
Apocalypse Now
Who hasn't seen this classic and loved it? If you have never seen "Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse" you need to push you mouse away, start you car and go rent it. Hearts of Darkness (the making of) is just as good as the movie.
19
Batman Begins 2005,  PG-13)
20
GoodFellas 1990,  R)
21
Halloween 2007,  R)
Halloween
Its hard to shoot a remake of a classic. Its impossible to make it better than the original. But Zombie pulled it off! This movie scared the shit outta me! Young Michael Myers has got to be the scariest character ever cast. Great cast, scary script...John Carpenter should be proud.
22
River's Edge 1986,  R)
River's Edge
A story of delinquent youths, dysfunctional families, disturbing behaviour and a murder. Staring a very young Keanu Reeves (was released in 1986) and Dennis Hopper. This movie is Dark and Depressing. Loosely based on a true story.
23
Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny 2006,  R)
Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny
I would imagine only metal heads would love or appreciate this movie. Jack Black and his sidekick guitarist, set out to recover (steal) the Pick Of Destiny. The guitar pick holds satanical properties that makes the barer ROCK, when played. Horns Up Baby!
24
Transformers 2007,  PG-13)
25
Heavy Metal 1981,  R)
26
