This movie is amazing! Heath was the best Joker of all times! Of course, no one will ever be able to reprise this role and do it as well (in my book). It is the darkest I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of Christian Bale as The Batman (maybe I hate his portrayal of Bruce Wayne) but I can actually overlook him because of the Joker. This is a must see and a must buy for your dvd collection.
Also, in my perspective this is not your typical comical portrayal of a Batman movie and I can understand some of the parents concern however, it does not take away from the purpose of Batman. He remains a superhero and the man who is willing to take a stand against crime. We live in a darker age now and our children are witnessing things darker than this in video games, at school and in there communities. I think that if we talk to our children and have healthy conversations about movies then we can help them make proper associations.

Very fluid protrayal based on a tru story. I loved the human struggle we all face when confronted with larger than life issues (whether it be racism, homelessness, world hunger, disaster relief, etc.). I loved this movie and encourage you to see it.
