This is my favourite movie, hands-down. I can put this on endless repeat and simply not get tired of it. It's a great satire on Star Trek, and every character had their part.

Seriously, if you can't burst out laughing at some of the scenes (squids with power tools at first meet, and DIGITIZE ME! come to mind), then something's really wrong with you.

The Dark Crystal 1982,  PG)

Labyrinth
Recently watched this again, and this will always be a timeless movie. If you'd ask me, I think a lot of the great movies were made in the 80's.

You'll never get tired seeing Sarah getting into the realm of the Goblin King, trying to save her brother that she wished upon the King before. The muppets are still as funny as ever.

Still a great movie despite its age, although it is not that bad!

Definitely one of the best children's movies out there. Quite typical that the best ones seem to be Scandinavian in nature, they know something we don't...

I found the setting quite realistic, and the kids seem to be acting right like kids (of that time anyway). No fake gags like most American kid movies, no exaggerated camera movements to get more drama out of the deal. No, this is a real kids movie which could very well have happened.
