Solid performance by it's leading lady and a fine survival story without too much flare. Light on it's social commentary but that's a good thing because it seemed that it wasn't it's goal and it didn't have something to comment about.

Stunning visuals and an intelligent story. HAL9000 is terrifing! It is slow (by today's standards) but absolutely rewarding.
Twelve Monkeys (12 Monkeys)

I believe that there is a role in every actor's work where you can see that he /she is talented and can actually act. For me, "12 monkeys" is that movie for Brad Pitt. I like Bruce Willis performance in many (not all of course) of his movies and this is so good... the story is excellent and the visual style of Terry Gilliam is just amazing. This is one of my favorite sci-fi movies of all times.
