This movie tugs at the heart strings without being sappy. There are several stories going on throughout the movie but they remain central to the one story of Captain Abu Raed. This movie is now in my top 10 movies ever. GREAT film.

Great movie!! Clint Eastwood shows he still is a Hollywood Leading Man! The movie shows us there is always hope for us at any age! Walter Matthau and Jack Lemon pioneered the grumpy old man characters and Eastwood has perfected it! The previews did not prepare me that I would actually laugh out loud during the movie!
