My new personal favorite film of all time. This was deeply moving in everyway and was robbed of best foreign film of the year at this year's academy awards

This is by far the best film of the year so far. Not only that but i am going to say this is my new favorite film of all time. Its seriously that good. If you have never seen or taken a chance with an animated film this is the one. It is a true epic in film making. Go see it.

One of the Best films of 2007 along with the musical "Once". Superb acting, directing, cinematography and score/music. This is a perfect example of a film that will stick in your memory for years to come. Do not miss this film based on a true story. This will go down as a timeless classic.

Tied for first place as the best film ever made. There is so much beauty and greatness in this film. wonderfully directed, acted, filmed, and scored. This is fantasy to its perfection. There is also a tremendous blend of drama, holocost situations, horror and imagination.

After watching this film finally I understand why it is called by some critics as the best hollywood film ever made. This really is truly one of the most beautiful and romantic films I have ever seen. No let me rephrase that this really is the most romantic film I have ever seen. This is by far one of my top 5 films of all time. This is a must see for any film lover. If this film hadn't of been in black and white it would not be the same film that it is.

Quite possibly the best dark comedy ever made. I found this whole film to be nothing short of brilliant and overall very unique and strange. This should have gotten all the big oscar noms this year but was highly overlooked really. Another classic from writer and now turned director Charlie Kaufman (Adaptation and Being John Malkovich)

Surprisingly one of the top 5 films I've ever seen. The script, acting, cinametography, directing and music is all fascinating and amazing. Don't go by what this poster shows its much more than a story about 2 pretty girls. This story is about LIFE!! Beautiful

After seeing this film twice in it's first 3 days of being in theatres, I can say this is an instant classic and arguably as good if not better than thedark knight. This however is a much more dark film and is definetly not your average comic book film. This is based on a graphic novel and should be noted that it's an adult film. I was endgaged by every frame of this movie. So far its the best of the year.

My favorite historical character in one of the best films of 2006.

Honestly this is one of the best films I have ever seen. I would say there are some little comparisons in this to Pan's Labyrinth but it is a lot less disturbing. This film is without a doubt a compleate original though and as far as i know this film never really saw the light of day till 2008. So I would have to say this is a a close 2nd to best picture of the year..only because Wall-E in my own opinion is the best film ever made..This is a work or art and beauty. The relationship between the lead actor and the child is one to never forget. This film is pure movie magic and should not be missed. It has one of the most memorable endings to a film I think I have ever seen. Just to warn some viewers that some parts of this film may make no sense. The film is presented by 2 of the best directors out there David Fincher (Fight Club) and Spike Jonze (Adaptation) Read what it's about before you watch it though. THe cover can be a tad missleading.

One of the best films of all time. I couldn't call this the best film of all time though - as some critics have called it. But it is definatly in my top's. This is a timeless cinematic classic.

The bigest shocker I've seen. This is a greatly disturbing film. One of the best I've seen this year as well from last year. Any film with Gael Garcia never sezes to amzaze me. I wouldn't recomend this to anyone who likes happy endings or is under 18. *Approach with caution*

After watching this I was sad..in part because Heath Ledger is dead and we won't get to see anymore incredible perfomances from him. This performance as the Joker is truly legendary and I really can't see how he wouldn't be considered teh best villan of all time. It is that good. This is a perfect comic book adaptation. I saw in a magazine that this was based on the dark knight graphic novel by Frank Miller. You can sence a touch of Sin City to this film but more for a younger audience while still remaining really dark and entirly entertaining. There is also some deep messages in this film about anarchy adn the choices people make that are something I have never seen in a film like this before. This sets new grounds and raises the bar for comic book films. Harvey Dent or Two Face is also a very intriguing character that becomes a bit terrifying. Aaron Eckhart was perfect for that role and I pray that there will be another Christopher Nolan Batman film. I would say this is one of the best films of the year by far so far.

One of the years best films and by far the best of the Bourne series. One of the smartest thrillers to come along in a while. Highly recomended.

This wasn't as funny as people are saying though. It is more of an artistic drama with some funny elements and those elements are funny. The most entertaining film I've seen to date. Best special effects I've seen in a film as well. Ha ssome very funny moments and spectacular action scences. This film will not dissapoint by any means. One of my favorite directors brings an american classic to audiences. This is one of the best films I've seen about human relationships and their is a n art to it with a great soundtrack and wonderful acting and cinematography. Well deserved of its oscar noms plus being ranked in the Criterion collection.

A more personal like this one is. One of the many romantic comedies I grew up with and partly had something to do with who I am, sorta, but in a way that doesn't really relate to the film itself at all. I had previously had just the 5 star rating here simply stating that this is a classic in romantic comedies. I couldn't really say the same now after just watching this for the 11th time at least over the course of my life. Watching it fresh now did make me cringe in parts and make me realize how much of a film nob I've become, noitcing all the flaws within. That being said, in the end of watching this, it still brings me to tears and breaks my heart that life doesn't actually contain romance like this. It's all bull-shit, but it's beautiful none the less and is predictable but overall about as charming as films of these kind come from the 90's. It's an exploration in the romance we wish were possible and may never have. It's funny, and feel good if you can except the fantasy of it all.

Pure brilliance. This was toally different than what I expected. This has got to be the best spy film ever made. Really. Why people dont like this film is because its different and not what you expect. I recomend all see this film if your into really good films that have intellegence.

An Epic film. Truly one of the greatest film's i have ever seen.

Oscar worthy in every way. Honestly I am not a fan of Angelina Jolie as a person. But as an actress here as well as 2 other previous performances in other films (Girl Inturrupted and A Mighty Heart)..this was by far her best performance and really does deserve the oscar for lead actress of the year. The whole ensamble cast here is actually amazing and well in general, director Clint Eastwood just never lets down really. This is however, a very hard film to watch cause of its subject matters. I was engagged by every frame of this film and it was really effecting. Very well written. A must see for any fan of good films.

This is by far the best film of the year. Every frame of this film is wonderful. It is also very real and true human emotion is shown. Some of the best dialouge I've every herd took place in this film. Ellen Page also gives the performance of the year from any actor male or female this year and Michael Cera also gives one of the best supporting roles this year as well. In fact all of the cast gives great performances. This film deserves every oscar it gets nominated for. It woudl be a compleate robery for it not to get nominated this year. Do not miss this soon to be classic.

Compleatly overlooked at the oscars this year. This should have been one of the nominees for best picture of the year. It was definatly in the top 5 that's for sure. Amazign performances all around. Cate Blanchett deserved best suporting actress for this by far. Wonderful Directing. An Epic.

(re-rating/revisit) Still a classic even today. One of the best films of all time, and even a great one to watch with families if everyone is above 18 I would say. Not a single dull moment in this one, and a great companion to The Shawshank Redemption, although, I do like this one a tad more.

Possibly the creepiest and scariest horror film drama I've ever seen. one of the best films of the year. The ending is unlike any ending to a horror film I've seen. This is also a very disturbign film at the same time.

So I have come to appreciate this film now for being so realistic to high school and it really is truly a classic. This is the review I gave before for thsoe of you who want a differnt side.

I wanted to walk out of this movie about half way mainly becasue of how much girls are disrespected throughout the film but I wanted to see how it would end so I could shed the whole truth about how I felt about the overal picture itself. I was suprised by how the whole conclusion came down and it was a little predictable but still had some open questions in the end that might have teenagers scratching their heads about the party life. I thought that all the rudeness I had to go through in order to get the point of this film was rather sickening. I couldn't say however that this was a bad film in the way that it had really good acting from all the leads and supporting cast. Plus not once did I feel that this was trying to be goofy or slapstick but mostly relied on its dialouge and character development. So overall I didn't like this film but I didn't hate it either. I can honestly say this though, that it did have an effect on me in a way that reminded me of how high school kids acted in real life which to say the least is rather sad.

This was the best comedy of 2006 but it also has a lot of dramatic elements that makes this a wonderful and beautiful film. Well deserved oscar noms and wins at the last academy awards. Everything about this film is just wonderful. Its a future classic.
