And the Oscar goes to: ...The King's Speach.
...I'm real happy for you....I'mma let you finnish. But Aronofsky had one of the best movies of all time....Of all time... And that's exactly what it is. I've never feelt like this in the theather before. Absolutely crazy. Portman does the role of her life. And everybody else...magnificant. It grabs a hold of you....and you don't want it to let go. You welcome the horror. And you can just feel the passion thoughout the whole movie. I would really like it to be one hour longer. Cause when you feel the last scene it the air...you feel sad that it's almost over. But then they nail that aswell. And you gotta feel good. And the music...let's not even get into that... It's almost like I never wanna see it again cause I wanna keep the memory of that day. But I have to...because it was so good. If you havn't seen this movie. Don't wait. As I said...One of the best movies of all time

I don't feel I need to say anything....this is just perfect

Wow...this was a real experience of pure art. I usely think that a plot revolving around drugs is a little bit of a cheap way to capture the audience. But this was just so perfectly delivered. One of the absolutly greatest performences I've ever seen from Ellen Burstyn. And the whole build up for the ending toped with fantastic music truly makes this a 5 star movie. I used to doubt Darren Aronofsky but This Is Art

First Viewing: Hey...who am I to badmouth the godfather?...but it wasn't that good...and there was way too many characters to keep count on...don't get me wrong...it was good...but great?...I don't know

Second Viewing: Okay I'm sorry. Now I get it. You got to pay attention...It's not like todays movies where you get to know everything you have to at the begining. It's a well telled story that don't mean shit if you don't know who the people involved are. The first time I saw it...I remembered seeing Robert Duvall one time. And Sonnys death. Sure it was good action...But who was he...No one knows. This time...I understod The Godfather. And Marlon Brando did not deserve the crap I gave him while rating L.A. Confidential.

Okay this review is gonna be a real pain in the ass. So let me start by saying that the whole production is pretty much perfect. I don't know if it's possible to make a better movie. They shure didn't save the gunpowder (dom spara inte på krutet). And the actors made a great performeance. I knew before that Martin Sheen was a great actor but this confirms it. I can't belive that he haven't been in more big time movies. He should really be up there with the big dogs. But here comes the Nutcracker....I did not care for The Godfather...

No but the plot....the story....the big cheese...what ever you wanna call it. I wouldn't call boring but it sure wasn't interesting enough. It was nothing different than any other war movie. I think that if you wanna make a real big time super movie like this is...I expect a better plot. Even tough I watched the Redux version with 53 more minutes of things the movie obviously could do without....Like the whole part with the French people. I didn't think it made any difference at all to the story...They could absolutely do without that one. But let's sum it up. Great movie....but to make a perfect movie...it's all gotta be perfect...you can't just film it perfect. It hurts to trash it....but this is just how I feel. Last call with Martin signing off...

One of the true greats. Fantasic movie. The first hour the suspense was killing me...great story and great acting....And Harrison Ford just manage to be there without taking to much spotlight....that was great.

Almost a 5-star movie. The story is telled very great. Great performance by every character. An my god...one of the greatest endings ever (oh yeah...it's way up there with halloween 3)

A very good and unpredictible movie.

One of the most creative movies of all times.

All of a sudden...Citizen Kane don't seem so impressive any more. This is way better. Just the fact that it is in color blew my mind. I never thought about that it was in color. And I was just sitting enjoying the very nice Sepia tone when the movie suddenly switched to color and my jaw dropped. Amazingly beautiful colors. And amazing effects throughout the whole movie...It's from 1939 damnit...(even though flixster says '33). And all the amazing makeup...especially on the scarecrow...that would look good even today. And the whole movie is very good directed, filmed and edited. There was like 2 bad cuts throughout the whole movie. And all the actors is really going all in for there roles. And Judy Garland is absolutely adorable. I didn't even have to watch this as a child to enjoy it. It should really get 5 stars...

Oh my...is this perfectly directed or what? it's from 1941 damnit! How the hell did they do this movie? I just have to lift my hat (wich I'm not wearing) and thank for this creative masterpiece

Fantistic movie. Awesome dialogue and chemistry between De Niro and Pesci. And great job from Sharon Stone too. Scorsese is really one of the big dogs.Very good directed. There's so much happening all the time for so long. Can't imagain all the work behind it. I'm happy

It's a sad story...Wish it wasn't a true story but here we are. I like how they take a true story and tell it without adding some dramatic (or patriotic) bullshit like a lot of movies does. I recomend this movie to everybody. This is a movie you should see

A really good and well made movie with a lot of passion. But the disrespecting laughter was uncalled for

Offcourse it was a good movie...I wasn't expecting anything else. But it wouldn't have reached near it succes if it wasn't for the death of Heath Ledger. Offcourse he did a great job, but I find his way of playing the joker unfair. Nicholson did it the right way. But in the end...It's all about the money. And why have they complitely eliminated the batcave? That's his thing....He got his suit, his car and his cave....in batman begins they gave him a tank...and now his cave....now he's just a chump in a suit. And his voice...I can't stand it....Is he supposed to be human/bat or human/godzilla??...Sometimes you can't hear what he's saying. But enough complaining. It was good...The two-face story was good stuff

Definitely lived up to the hype. Still works great to this day almost 40 years later. Great makeup...unlike what some of you people out there say. Great acting. Maybe not the "Scariest movie of all the times" but at least one of the best in that genre.

A lot better than I remembered it. Very funny...And with great action. Willem Dafoe is very good. This is exacly how I picture Spider-Man....So they are spot on....Sam is a good director

I looks like Robert Rodriquez just keeps getting better and better. A lot of fine actors...and everyone plays there part to perfection....Especially Steven Seagal,,,,Can't remember ever seeing someone as cool as him. Great humor...Great Action...Great Acting...Great Directing....Just a Great movie.

Wow. This is truly one of the true greats. I have many times doubted Spielberg. But I guess he is as good as they say. I don't know what he does....but even when nothing is happeing in the movie...it's very exiting. And he used a lot of revolutionary filming for this movie. Even today 35 years later...it's still cuts the mustard

Well it seemed really boring until you turned it off after an hour and watched the first one again. Cause if you don't get the first one...This ain't gonna be a walk in the park. I'm a little disappointed at the prequel story. It's like they cut out the best part. He shots the guy and then everybody respects him...what happened in between? The sequel story was good but it feels like there's more to be told.

Best comedy ever...with Jim Carrey at his best

It's a nice story by the king of kings made in to a nice movie...that's pretty much it.....enjoy

One of the true classics. The first part of the movie until the apes arive has that perfect slow pace. Where nothing is really happening...but your still enjoying it far more than any scene in todays movies. That simply can't be done anymore. I think the apesuits look good still today...it doesn't take long untill it feels natural. This movie is just what it's supposed to be. The one and only...

Tim Burton has done it this time. It's great

Very good movie. Exelent storytelling and very funny aswell. One moment it's sad and the other you are laughing and it's all placed out very well. Doc Ock isn't coolest guy...But I can't think of a better way to do something with him. I don't think it's as far behind the first one anymore. Can't wait to se the third......winner takes all

First Viewing: I'm sorry but this just didn't do it for me. The party scene at the begining just lasts forever and you lose all interest. And then when they just jumps right into the action (wich could be a good effect if it's done right) I had lost all faith in the movie and they had lost me forever...It had some good moments but it was too slow and didn't got my attention

Second Viewing: Once again...I was wrong. This is a good movie. The Difference between todays movies and movies like this is: Today you watch the movie...and you understand it. Old movies...You have to listen to it to understand it. So was the case with this...If you don't follow it...the first hour will eat you alive. So I'm sorry. This is not a 2 1/2-star movie. I think they have really captured the human behavior. And that's because they have worked a lot with real emotions and reactions. And some improvisation. Hey....it was a good movie

This is the kind of movie that know will be good....And you just expect it to be good. And it wasn't anything else. Very good chemistry between Tom Cruise and Demi Moore. And then there's Jack Nicholson on top of that. Very Good

This was a interesting movie...and a advanced movie. I don't think that all the ignorent sheeps in the audience could keep up with the movie. Dreaming is advanced stuff...so there was a lot of interesting information and stuff. I think Christopher Nolan is one of the better modern directors. His movies look like most movies these days.....but still different. He knows what he's doing...and when he does it...He goes all in. The no gravity fight scene was pretty cool. Nice to see a modern movie that's still inovative

It was a lot of time when nothing happend...But it still managed to keep me interested

Well....Polanski has done it again (or for the first time). All actors does really great jobs. The conversations feels so real. Very good movie that still feels fresh now 42 years later. And she was right damnit... You fucking people...stay away from the baby. A nice thing about the movie that you don't see in todays movie was that....you don't know how it's gonna end...In todays movies you know how it's gonna end....and when it doesn't end that way.....you still thought you knew...but then they screwed you...(which is fun too)...here...I had no idea.

Interesting movie. Great acting by the people involved. Little surprised that Willis could skip his Stone-face-though-guy persona and just act. So thumbs up for him. And his face is just priceless when he listens to music in the car. That is happiness personified.

Good story

I certainly didn't see this coming. Fantastic movie. Very much more high budget then I thought. I really thought the movie was about to end when Kyle Reese died....But they had alot more in mind for us. It's a interesting idea...cause who knows whats down there? The movie has a message that many of you people should think about. Now I can say without a doubt in my mind. James Cameron.....is the king. Just give him a big budget...and he'll make something great out of it. Every time

...Is this for real? This movie surpassed it's capacity by a long shot. Very great movie. Nice lightning...nice audio (exept for some parts). And by god...unlike batman...the laws of logic applied. It feelt very realistic....I can't believe this movie gets so much crap...it's a great story...and the ending was just breathtaking....that kid looked so cool. Really looking forward to Halloween 5. Michael is my new best friend.

Better than I thought

This is the best film of 2011...and one hell of a film. I was really doubtful about watching this... But it did not disapoint at all... Very good acting from a lot of people. There are so many great scenes in this movie. And who could have guessed that Kevin Bacon could play the role of his life in 2011? The graphic effects look really good as well...I am really looking forward to the future of the franchise...

It's not a perfect movie...but it's my kind of movie. I liked it very much. And the unexpected visit from Kevin Spacey was great.

Very nice movie. And nice how it pretty much changes genre in the middle of the movie. Great work by Reeves, Pacino and Theron. They should be happy with what they did

This was entertaining..And a nice journey. But I think it's a little overrated. Don't understand how this movie can please so many people even though I liked it. Nicholson is great as allways...And once again...It was fun to see Polanski in action. There's just someting entertaining about seeing him. And I don't think anbody can blame the ending for being predictable.

Wow. This movie is just sick. Very different in a good way. And the scene where Tarantinos chracter dies is great....The look on his face is priceless. Very funny movie. But what's the deal with Bruce Willis?...they could have used anybody...he does nothing special. Everyone else was great

I liked it. There was some great cutting and there was some horrible cutting. The same goes for the acting...so it was a little confusing. But it's just a good story. And we all like Robert De Niro....but the man who made this movie is defenetly Nick Nolte.

Very convincing performance by both James Caan and Kathy Bates. You can't help but pitty the guy. And the scene when she breaks his feets to Moonlight Sonata is just beautiful. Just a great movie. And the part when he gives her the finger was just brilliant

Very entertaining movie. Highly interesting story. DiCaprio and Hanks does what they do best. But we have all the other folks aswell. Walken is great. Martin Sheen is great. Amy Adams is great. And who else to put it all together but Steven Spielberg? Could it be anything else but good?

The best swedish movie. De e sant de...

A great movie. And a sad movie. Not what you think it is. Swank is great. Eastwood is great (behind and infront of the camera) and Freeman....he does his thing. I don't know about you people out there but I was touched by this film

This is some fine directing right here from Mr. Political Subject himself. This movie uses one of the oldest tricks in the book for dramatic effect....Slowmotion....and it does it really well. Tom does possibly his best role here? And it's a very interesting story. Willem Dafoe makes a brief but oscar worthy apperence. There are a lot of very beautiful shoots in this movie. Escpecially that first shoot after we cut to the war. That is just iconic. This movies story draws many similarities to The Deer Hunter but it's still very diffrent and uniqe. A really good movie and a great work by Tom Cruise

It didn't feel so much Tarantino. But it was really good. And I guess that many people are bothered by the fact that they use a lot of languages. But I didn't mind...felt nice for ones. And Christoph Waltz did one of the greatest performances ever

I loved this movie. It was really good. I loved the directing. Everything was great....The music, the sound, the lightning. (it was dark lighting....but it really fits the movie). And it's very mysterious. You don't know what to expect. Really exiting. And I don't think anybody can question Christian Bale's comitment to the role. But he does a good job with it to. I'm gonna watch it again..

A really smart movie (if you don't know the story before you see it....boy was that a mistake) The good guy is the badguy...the badguy is the good guy....you don't know who to cheer for...the negative part is that it was maybe a little too simply made. Great work by Ellen Page.

Great Movie. It looks very real and it's fucking brutal. Very well filmed and the cast is great. It's not a typical Rambo movie but that doesn't matter. Good stuff

Great movie. It starts out very slow (in a good way) and relaxing. Very nice atmosphere in the middle of nowhere. And then there's just good action all the way. Kind of strange mindtwisters at times. And it's amazing how they manage to tell the story with passion with almost any music at all.

Great storytelling....very funny buildup to how they find out he's home alone...and how he finds out they are coming to break in. This was a good year for Pesci. Nothing bas about GoodFellas. But this is what he should have got the Oscar for... (don't poop your pants....it's a joke)...He was really good though...

I don't know what some of you sick people out there are talking about....This is the blueprint of how to make a sequal....You do the same thing (cause that's what brough you succes in the first place)....but you change the playingfield....and add some new characters. That's exacly what's has been done here....and it's done to perfection....just as good as the first one...if not better...now he's got 2 teams against him....the thiefs...and the people at the hotel....AND! he's in New York....something gotta give!

Yeah it was good. Probably a lot scarier if you watch it alone in the dark....I didn't....but there is a nice weird suspense.

Well of course it's a good movie but....he seems like a normal guy....then all of a sudden he buys some guns....gets a stupid haircut...tries to act tough....and wants to kill politicians....but instead he kills some badasses...okay..thats fine. I'm happy for him...but I just didn't feel the transition from average guy to badass with stupid haircut....it just happened. It's a good movie...but a masterpiece?....This asshole says no. Well I guess that Halloween 4 wasn't just a one hit wonder. Cause this was good shit. It's not like any other horror movie with the stupid stereotypical teens. The movie is built on logic. Michael seems real...cause we get to see how he works....he's a human for god's sake. The negative things about the movie is that it doesn't work by itself. It needs the 4 and the 6. But that's how they make the money ($). And there was a couple of holes in the story....like the begining....Is he like laying at the old mans table for a whole year?...does the old man think he's alive or dead?...is he feeding him?...Not clear enough. And you can't help but pity Dr. Loomis...he tries so hard without results. And then there's this boots-fella....who is this motherfucker? I never though I would say this...but Michael kicks Freddy and Jasons asses any day of the week. We all know Michael is my new best friend...but the great acting of Danielle Harris makes her a close runner up. That's all I have to say...buy the merchendise

Impressive. After 4 movies it still feels fresh. It was a little diffrent from the first ones. We got to know Jigsaw as a person. That was nice. And ones again an unpredictabe twist...Bravo.

Great movie. Very visual and believeable effects. And you know that there is a twist....but you never see it coming. Even though it was a little confusing it was good stuff.

This is real action....cool action....it's not fat explotions and cars going really fast....He moved the fucking bridge...A great ending to the triology. The thing with X-men is that even though everything is pretty stupid....everything makes sense. Very sad when Magneto loses his powers. Good suspense in the movie. Thumbs up from the guy who thinks that X-men is a frickin joke

Well this movie just kicks the Hollywood standards in the nuts. No one tells them how to make a movie. And that's a very nice alternative to everything else you see. I thought it was a little slow...many scenes that could have been cut down. Great performances by all actors. Fantastic ending that just shatter all your hopes....And the extremely crappy song in the movie fits so absolutely perfect that it becomes extremely great.

This was a good movie. Everybody does there thing the way they should. I would probably have give it 4 stars if I had watched it at another time. It just wasn't the right time to see it...

This is just the natural sequal...It had to be done. It's funny. And Dustin Hoffman is very good in this. Perfect for the part.

Let me speak on this one...Not sure what to say though. One side of me liked it alot. One side thought it was a little overrated. The ending was great...and I had forgotten that it was in this movie. So I got to enjoy that....The story is good. The directing is good. Kevin Spacey get a lot of credit....But I think they all are good...It's a group effort. I think it will be ever better next time I see it. But I definitely recomend it.

I have no idea why Val Kilmer tried to pretend he was Batman....when it's obvious this is what he should be doing. Great work by him. A sad story. And a great Steven Weber stealing the show....that guy is gold

I think we've heard just about enough from Mr. Spielberg. I respect his work. He know how to direct a big time movie. But there's like no personality in his directing. It's a lot of hard work and I'm happy he's there to do it. This was a good movie. But it just feelt like a big waste of money. Fun to see a lot of B-rated actors you recognise. This has got to be Vin Diesel's best work....he sure sucks. The bottom line is...A good movie...but I could sure do fine without it. I have taken just about enough of Americas crap.

A little special film. It's based a lot on feelings. And Bill and Scarlett does a good job of letting us read their feelings without saying much. You can tell it's directed by a woman. And I think that that is just what this movie needs to be what it is. I liked it a lot.

A step up from the last one...that's for shure. And a plot that was able to follow. I think it lived up to the hype....some awful voiceovers though...and Bond is still such a bully...He obviously raped a girl in this movie....

Scorsese shows us early in his career that he is someone you can count on. Exellent begin of a awesome future. Very solid movie. A lot of very good performances. But Harvey Keitel is just wonderful.

Ridley Scott had no chance in competing with The Silcence of the Lambs....so he did something different....And I think he did it good. Anthony Hopkins is cold as ice. And Julianne Moore is okay. It would have been great with Jodie Foster

Simply Amazing

Crank the music up.... That's what he should have said...He should have used Zacks best line. No but I was a fun movie...And a lot of fun backstage making of facts...I though both Jason and Amy did good jobs

This movie...I like. It's a good plot. First it's a very interesting story...and then it turnes out that it's not what you think....but then there's another very interesting story. Once again...good action scenes by Michael Bay. Ewan McGregor does a good job with both his parts. And Scarlett...Nothing wrong with that. It makes you think what the future may look like. Cause if we don't take action now...We'll settle for nothing later. See you on The Island...

Those prisoners look really badass. I'm not a fan of Nicholas Cage...but it's a good movie. And it looks really expensive

First I saw the first half. And I was a little dissapointed. There was good directing. And good acting. And you could feel the quality of the movie. But somehow it didn't get the job done. It didn't speak to me. Then I watched the second half a couple of days later. And that part was definitely better. It had the feeling that the first part should've had based on what it looked like. So it was a good movie. I would recommend it.

This was a good movie. But the only thing that pisses me of is that Kim Basinger won an oscar for this.....she didn't do shit...more undeserved than Marlon Brando from The Godfather...uuh uuh...offer...who can't do that?

Maybe not as funny as the first two....but not far from. I just can't believe they're all here...cause....they're all here! Even Harvey Keitel is here. Just like the other two...loaded with great jokes. And everybody puts of their A-game

It starts much better than episode I...and then it keeps going that way. It shows just enough of Anakins evil side. It's a good build up for episode III

Good movie...Good Action....Great Special Effects

When I saw M:I 3 I called it "Just good old action". And that's what this is...even more so. It's interesting...about 80% ov the movie you are excited. And that's good for a action movie today. And it's was fun to see Michael Nyqvist. They didn't use him to pefection...but he didn't disapoint. The franshice isn't dead...cause this was a lot better than the 3rd one

Well...I was brave of theme to make this movie. It feel like it's a sensitive subject. And it was really great in the scene at the dinner table when Norton screams at that guy...and it's done so that you really feel like your involved and agrees with him even though I don't actually agree with him (hey....I'm not a nazi) It's a good story...there are some pure badasses out there

Jodie Foster can really carry a movie on her own. But she doesn't have to here. Everybody has a great part in the story. And Jared Leto...he is still a jabroni in my eyes....but that guy is great...havn't seen him so many times...but every time he steals the show (especially in American Psycho). Well this certainly left me a little brown in my pants. This is 100% built on suspense...It's hard to look during the night footage...But yet...You can't look away...It's just....the silence....Something about silence makes me sick! It's like a door moving a couple of inches....And it scared me more that any Freddy movie ever did...This is a fine example that less is more. I was gonna give it 4 stars...cause it's a pretty simple movie...But I couldn't resist. They say "Don't watch alone"...but I say do...cause only then will you really feel it.

I think it lived up to the book....even though it felt lite they just tried to sum up every scene in the fastest way possible...the movie could have been longer. But they shure found the perfect guy to play Billy.

But let's cut the crap. It's a good movie...doesn't really keep the standard of its fellow movies. but hey...I still feel that Saw is the greatest movie series in modern time.

It just jumps right in to the action from the start and it takes a while to get it to it. But then it's good. The race scene is pretty good and Liam Neeson is kinda cool. It's a good start.

I haven't seen anything like thing before. Pretty amazing in my personal opinion. The Reality feeling is like beyond highest possible. And very nice long, well-choreographed uncut scenes with a lot happening. Nothing is predictable and there was a lot of unexpecting things. You get kind of a headache from whaching the camera move...but the way it's done is just great. And the ending was perfect followed by really great music on the credits

Even though Tarantino is thinking outside the box and doing a different thing then what we are use to...I think Rodriguez won this battle. Most impressive thing about the whole movie is definitely Antonio Banderas. Very cool guy.

I enjoyed it. It's pretty humorous. It has a very comical way of using brutality...and that was fun. And it's one of few movies where I can watch Nicolas Cage without feeling any uncomfortability or disgust...And that's a win in my book.
