A masterpiece where Akira Kurosawa given life a history of courage, sacrifice, love, friendship and other virtuos manifested through the seven samurai and the villagers who fight together for one destiny.
This movie change mi vision of the cinema, the vengeance is part of the human nature, denied only make it stronger, i say no more about this awesome film, just watch it, enjoy the perfect plot, the twist, the situations, the characters, everything!
In the middle of one history of violence, we can find a message about the incomunication between kids and adults, sometimes the people chose besides your problems and no confronting directly.
A masterpiece that show us the real horror, wich is nothing more than the human nature, maybe the worst creature of this world, because only the human can kill and hurt others for his own ambicious.
Onibaba represent all the basic instincts of the human nature, sexuality, greed, hungry and the survival of the stronger in hostile territory.
After see the movies of Sergio Leone and Corbucci, i have to say: I prefer the Corbucci's style, more crude and dirty.
Django is one of the best character ever made, a silent gunslinger performance by Franco Nero, with his gatling "Django" and a music theme imposible to forget, this is a funny as hell ride.
Sergio Corbucci, the other great exponent from the spaghetti western show us the most crude side from this amazing genre.
Meanwhile Leone is more poetic, Corbucci is more rude and direct, there no space for good or evil, anybody can die without mercy or hope.
There is one of the best character from the cinema, the cold main protagonist Silence and the ruthless Tigrero, performance by the genius Klaus Kinski, best villain ever!
Ennio Morricone show us another great soundtrack that inspire cold sadness.
This is other thing that i don't see before, a western in the snow! Really, i always see towns in the middle of desert, this is the first time where i see snow everywhere O.O
If you are really a spaghetti western fan, you need see this.
The best thriller that i've seen in a long time, this is one of most honest works about the process of found a killer, where not always be captured
This movie show us the frustration of a group of killer that don't have the enough tools for make a good investigation meanwhile the killer don't stop in his muders
The direction is sublime and the cast make a good job like always, with a great but cruel ending where we can't find any hope
Perfect direction and performance in any sense, Jef Costello, the archetype of the cold killer without feelings with the samurai code.
A great combination of noir and oriental influences, this film was the main inspiration for a lot of future movies like The Killer or A Bittersweet Life.
Tsubaki Sanjuro is one of my favorite characters, he's not a hero making justice, he just helping to bring back the order to the places where reside the chaos, always looking for his own interest and helping others in the process.
Amazing film that have all the necesary elements for made a cult classic, specially ninjas that can explote, flying, making giants and topless ninjas =P
And of course, bloody wuxia and chambara duels with a touch of moral dilemma.
Miike not only made a remake, he reivented the whole plot.
Forgetting some fails like japanese actors speaking in english (with horrible acents) and Quentin "Copy/Paste" Tarantino, the film is part tribute to the original Django, part parody/comedie and part a big kick ass western like the best works of Leone and Corbucci.
My favorite asian western along with Tears Of The Black Tiger.
The vampires are great characters when you have the right focus, and the director of this masterpiece know it very well.
This is not a horror movie, is a very dark and creepy drama, the main characters are so charismatic and their performance are amazing, is great see child actors that don't make wish kill them with a chainsaw.
Thanks to Let The Right One In, i love the vampires once again.
I can't understand why some fans hate this movie when is one of the most solid pieces from the master Argento.
In the same spirit of Suspiria and Inferno, one more time the giallo adopt sobrenatural elements and works very well to understand the convulsed plot.
Is true that the film is too paced in some parts, but if you have a great performance from the very young Jennifer Connely, with the power of manipulate insects, the pressence of Donald Pleasence, a crazy monkey (lol), the soundtrack of Gobling (and Heavy Metal themes) and grossy murdereds, you can't be wrong.
This is another dark fairy tale and maybe the last great work from Dario Argento.
