X-Men Origins - Wolverine 2009,  PG-13)
X-Men Origins - Wolverine
Like better than the original x-men movies (they're jsut played out) but could have been beter but still good. I do believe Entertainment weekly made a joke about it ..action movie? We see a workout video. LOL (deadpool movie announced) watch credits there's 2 one after the cast credits & wait around until after credits for 1 or 2 'eastereggs come on You should know by now marvel does this with I think ALL their movies

it was ok. I thought it could have been about 15-20 minutes longer. I wasn?t sure in the trailers what mutant the ?Corpse? looking one was but answered at the end of the movie. The Movie starts in 1845 so now we know wolverine is immortal. To me the beginning credits the way they did it was kinda cheesy the way the action went then went to a still. A ?fastforward? of Wolverine?s Military timeline. (& you can see wehre exactly Sabretooth became bad. The cool thing is the story he took his nickname from. & Lol the way he messed up the name of one of the names in the story. (I uses the name like once a day.

I guess in ways it does try to be dark but doesn?t work. This one is an adventure around the world. I did know one character (actor) I was looking forward to seeing is only in it for around 5 minutes (which is more or less true) another as well. so it seems at least, but he won?t be the same again. LOl THe Blob Boxing Scene was a chuckle. all the wise cracking. you have to stay through the credits. There?s another scene right away then wait til the end of them. The Deadpol scene is cool. but that?s only from a non-com reader. (but I think if I was, I think I?d throw a fit! I have a feeling I won?t go back to see again unless I really need to see the Gambit scenes again (which is waiting to mid/end of film. But the Creole accent there isn?t much of. They couldn?t have included a few lines to bring it out a bit something (you?d have to read the Gambit series I got. I could almost hear the actor saying it, but I don?t recall any lines like this. Hopfully he?ll get his own origin. (I mean it sounds like he?s a fan fave.) B+

P.s. Why do wolverine & sabretooth stop aging once they reach adult forms?

?Taylor kitsch is SO good as Gambit that the next Origin Movie should focus on his character? ?Rich Bently the Journal News (Westchester local paper)

Star Trek 2009,  PG-13)
Star Trek
Liek 12 rounds pretty much non stop action w/ jsut the right amount of brething time in between.

I was never into star Trek when I was a kid. My parents watched it I only remember a little here & there. I do howeer know that most if not all the characters use their tag lines at least once in the movie. & Wonder in the series if James Kirk also had a thing for Green women. There was one part I tink I got confused a bit then figured it out. (I think it?s the twist I heard about that the Journal News says ?doesn?t work & from which the film never completely recovers.? Total Entertainment . There?s plenty of action drama & humor throughout the movie. Let?s say You?ve got an action scene for 5 minutes they give you about 10 to catch your breath, Have a laugh & start over from there. (not that it actually goes in a cycle but if not in all some of the action is so intense one scene I swear I was actually holding my breath! Eric Bana (from the first Hulk & the ?Other Bolyn Girl) playing the angry Romulan leader Nero does a pretty cool villain but does need a bit more snarl & meanness. You really cannot recognize who it is until you find out who plays the character. oh & what?s up with the Romulan ship? it looks like a giant spikey hybrid of an octopus & jellyfish.

from the journal news?.

?The source of his vendetta against Spock, & the entire Federation, is revealed as the film progresses (doesn?t it work that way most of the time?!!? duh!!) & it?s a crucial part of that distractingly perplexing twist we mentioned earlier? (what movie were these people watching? another version cause they must be stupid cause the ?twist? is kinda cool & to me not much of a ?twist? .. that?s usually something you don?t see coming. unless its done so smoothly that it doesn?t seem so to me. It didn?t distract me, I wasn?t perplexed really by anything in the movie unless you want to count the one spot that took me a few extra seconds to catch but don?t recall that part that happened. The movie was a lot of fun (my dad even had fun & I want to go see this in the theater again.. maybe I?ll see what I do on Thursday!!!

a Few excerpts from the Journal News review?

?Tickle & provoke purists but might make neophytes to feel a bit lost.? (I never felt ?lost? ) Having said that?, ?Abrams clearly aimed to appeal to the broadest possible audience with his dazziling visual spectacle while also leaving plenty of easter eggs for hardcore fans to find. ?He efficiently & satisfyingly presents the back stories of the men who wil become Capt. James T. Kirk, & the Half Vulcan Half human Mr. Spock and puts them on a collision course with each other, which ups the excitement early. Officer Uhura Zoe Saldana gets to do more than Nichelle ichols ever did on tv Chief Engineer Montgomery ?Scotty? Scott (Simon Pegg Hot Fuzz) in a Lively bit of casting. Reliable helmsman Sulu (John cho ?Harold & Kumar movies) showing he can do more than comedy & the 17- year old supergenius Chekov (Anton Yelchin, doing an intentionally cartoony Russian accent as an homage, even though he really is Russian)?LMAO & boy WAS IT!!!

Entertainment weekly quote: Clever & Infectious

overall an A! oh yeah studio already announced sequel for 2011!!! Go see it in the movie theater.. in IMAX probably even better!!

Terminator Salvation 2009,  PG-13)
Terminator Salvation
Well this was different (& liked it more than the 3rd movie) Its about time they did a future movie after skynet & cyberdine etc. it was ?dark? so to speak but to me its not John Conner that?s the hero of the movie.. its actually a Terminator, That I?m going to call the ?hero? (& was TRULY one!) The new guy that plays Marcus Wright I think we will be seeing a lot more of him! (& man I HOPE he?ll be in a future x-men movie.. he just fits into the mutant mold so well LOL. (too bad he couldn?t have been in this wolverine one.. maybe we?ll get a treat for the ?X-men:?first class? I liked Christan Bale being john Conner. I can?t think of anyone that would have done a better job in the seriousness of the movies situation. (I really like Christian Bale as an action star! but after seeing him in batman. it feels funny seeing him in another franchise movie)_ Oh yeah there?s a surprise toward the end of the movie. I think its some sort of effect though. I know you know what I?ll mean. I did get the creeps a bit seeing different types of Terminators, LOl one reminded me of a pirate(or maybe Rambo) ! However.. NOT at good as Star Trek (that? the movie so far, all other movies MUST be as good as or Better than) so this one I?ll give a ?b? to For those of you that have a problem w/ Christian Bale cause of that Tirade you may have heard about.. I don?t care what an actor does, its not going to keep me from his movies esp. when he?s a good actor!)

excerpt from ENTERTAINMEN WEEKLY?s review review??Even a disembodied limb from one of these nasty droids can do damage. That?s how the centralized brain of Skynet has built them: to ?come at you like Energizer Bunnies of Death?? (still gives me a chuckle)

oh & the last issue of the month in the back they have the ?Bullseye? which is pop culture that made it or not & well as I was somewhat saying or hinting at that ?Terminator Marcus Wright ?stole the show? What was the bullseye?? Entertainment weekly agreeing with me.!!!

Ca$h 2008,  R)
Ca$h
Stars Sean Bean as the Villain Pyke (isn?t that a fish) Kubic & Chris Hemsworth as Sam Phelan (Yeah something to tide me over til May!! LoL I am looking for episodes of home & away) & don?t care about the girl LOL. So Sam Phelan is on his way home ot to work one day & a suit case is thorwn off a bridge & lands on his car. If you got that money & used it what would you do? Well they go & hae their fun & then antagonist Sean bean Makes his entrance into their lives.. & that?s where the action begins. The question pretty much is Would you or wouldn?t you keep the money for yourself if you found a large sum of cash? (& don?t Lie.. they have the stats in the special features (the making of or behind the scenes something like that) That it was 51 percent of people said they?d bring it to the cops & the guy telling ya this then goes & 51% are liar. You don?t know what you?d do til it happens; Plus what the circumstances may be or so many other factors, To actually give a yes or no answer. Mine (at any moment I would say yes.. at least take a little or ?borrow? some as an advance finders reward mostly only tho if in debt) Sean Bean rocks as a bad guy.. Chris was cool.. although didn?t look believable holding a gun. & There?s one scene I had to laugh (& is a fave) w/ him in it esp. being the couple is suppose to be vegan/vegetarians. He?s cooking & Pyke wanted chop meat.. Well he grabs for it & ?.. Its something I?ve done since I could reach the top of the table... Liked the Ending that?s for sure (in a number of ways) B
