The Science of Sleep 2006,  R)
The Science of Sleep
Adorable, fantastic combination of a dream and real life! it's a story for dreamers from a dreamer. I loved the way it was directed and acted. Everything in this movie has a touch of unusual. This is a movie I didn't want to tell others about, 'cause I wanted to keep it only for myself!

The Addiction 1995,  Unrated)
The Addiction
Lili Taylor and her hypnotizing voice, incredibly done scenes, good soudtrack, and every aspect of art work inside another great art work... I have to see it again and to absorb every second of it. I'm amazed...

Most of the people compare it with drug addiction, but I didn't get it that way. I see it as a great metaphore for a rotten world we live in today. Vampire seems to me as a symbol for a great turst of every single man, greed that is in all of us. The vampire is feeding on other humans, and therefore makes a circle that is going on forever. It's a greatest sin to kill, but the biggest punishment is to live forever.

The Dreamers 2003,  NC-17)
The Dreamers
Loved all those movie scenes from old movies. Very inspiring dialogs, but there are a lot of sick brother-sister relationship scenes. Still I think it's a wonderfull film.

Bande à part (Band of Outsiders) 1964,  Unrated)
Bande à part (Band of Outsiders)
The wonderful narration in this movie make you wanna memorize every single word. It's an amazing movie that I could watch over and over again. I think that this movie should be filmed every few years (like the Dreamers) and to capture the essence of that time in this spectacular ,,Bande a Part'' kind of way.
5
Blow-Up 1966,  Unrated)
Blow-Up
Ok, I have to admit that first time I saw it a few years ago, I thought it's incredibly boring. But, after I've learnd a bit more about movies, art, and started to look films differently, I realised that this movie is a huge and one of the greatest critics of art and society in general! It is absolutely perfect, but very complex too...
6
Possible Worlds 2000,  Unrated)
Possible Worlds
I suppose the reason for not being credited is a mistake with mic that is always in the scene throughout the whole movie. It's about 2 worlds - one possibility! Very twisted crime story with a lot of beautifuly written dialogs. Tilda Swinton makes this movie a lot stronger, and I think that this one should have got a lot more credits because it's really special.
A masterpiece by Robert Lepage that everyone should take a look at!
7
Pi 1998,  R)

All the answers about the world, sybolism of numbers and all the secrets of Universum, you'll find in this movie. It will really make you to think about a lot of stuff. There is not a big difference between mad man and a genious, and this film proves it. It's misterious and very cleaver!

Such a good movie! I think this movie was meant to be for the future public! It is the most bizarre romantic movie, but without any emotions. It's at the same time an SF movie, a thriller and romance. Above all it has a lot of dialogs that will make you think about the present world!

The Big Blue (Le Grand bleu) 1988,  R)
The Big Blue (Le Grand bleu)
I am very much engaged to this movie. I think it's the best work of Luc Besson, and a movie that will always stay in your mind. It's for all those people who have that feeling of not belonging in this world. Maybe you'll find the soundtrack a little bit funny at the begining but don't let it affect your complete impression!
