The screenplay lacks in justifying the motivations, leading to a strange chain of events! The main character was played poorly and somehow didn't have any facial expression, and cause he didn't talk much either, it felt like "who's story am I following"? The only interesting part was the double view of everything, which started without any warning or build-up, but still interesting.

I'm gonna go watch the original, but to me the movie was OK. Marsden's acting wasn't the best, and the screenplay lacks in showing/rationalizing characters' peaks. Although the hunting scene and the final chapter looked pretty good.
