My Favorite Movies

Wow this movie was like REALLY good.
I love it.
The whole movie was good but i didn´t like the end bcz now i will have to wait a year and a half until the next Harry Potter. And bcz they didn´t tell us more about Krake, what happend too cho Chang after she told Umbrigd(can spell her name, sorry) about their secret hideout.
But the movie wow it was really really good :)

COMMENT: I remember when I saw this in the cinema with mum, I got so mad because of the ending, because there were so many loose threads and I had to wait another 8 months to fund out what was gonna happen ^^
Saw this one with my friend as well, it was great. The movie is great! and so is the soundtrack/May it be! Arwen aka Liv Tyler is so beautiful! (and I love the occasionally jokes^^ )

When I was a little girl, I had this movie and I watched it every singel day. One time were going on a vacation to india, and i took the movie along me. Guess what happend there?, My uncle gave my movie to a stranger, and i hated him so much for that. But now iam over it, and i have forgiven him! :)

A really touching story about how much we people have sank, what we kill others like us. Killing makes everything worse and this movie shows it all, with many sad moments and happy moment we take one step at the time to find peach and true love.
How its impossible to cut a heart into two pieces.
The movies was great and the kid Vijay was soo cute. Kristin made a great job playing Naseem and her "husband" was agr8 actor too, worth watching if you are intressted in India's history.

However it was a little surprising to not see Jim Carrey in a comedy movie but this was good. Not the best one I've seen but it was good.

wow, this is truely a movie i would watch 1000 times, this has so much fact and emotions and the story is extraordinary.!
How the father did anything to find his son and succeeded to convert him from a child solider to his child again and how much people would do, how much they would sacrifice to find a diamond and that our diamonds really are blood diamond.

It is strange why we are killing baboons. We are killing our brother and sisters our equals, for what? for material things that can be replaced any time, with some effort while a life, a human life is irreplaceable. no come back, just one heart beat and then gone. forever..

i actually liked this movie very much, at the end you could reflect over the movie and even get tear-eyed, a little, Mr. Solomon Vandy was a good man but Mr Archer was the guide.

Great acting, great action, great message, great music and finally. it'll get 9.75 out of 10 since I didn't see Mr. Archer didn't survive....

Honestly this movie didn't match my expectations of it, which btw wasn't even high. The book had so much good in it but the movie somehow twisted it. It also felt like if the director tried to put in too much in so short time that it just became a mess. Quite honestly i'm not satisfied with the movie especially not with the end, i mean what the h*ll? A movie can't end like that!
But now why did i then give it 3.5 out of 5, well
-it had good music (,5)
-lots of action scenes,(1)
- Kristen/Bella's expression when she hit Jacob in his face and broke her hand (big LMAO) (1)
- The actors, they did a good job,(1) its just that the director was a little.. hm.. woozy.
In conclusion the books are and will always be the best yet the movie had a few prime times.

Never thought that It's the 70's show-girl would show up as a kickin' police officer or whatever she was.

i just have to add that the water scenes were WOW! That's all :)

What I think about the movie: The movie was set in northern Australia just before US joined WW2 and during that time there was much black/white people problems and this movie showed the colors very well. It was an amazingly directed, but a little too long. When the romance between Drover and Lady Ashley blossomed the movie became more interesting, lots and lots of emotions came up and the actors made an impressive work with the emotional parts and made them deeply touching.
The best thing about the movie was that it mixed many messages, it was like a morality story, it had true history behind it, the accent the actors created gave the movie the western touch and atmosphere, the romance between Drover and Lady Ashley gave the movie a spark and it all together created a very adventurous movie that has to be seen because of the acting, the location, the music and well, everything.
If you have plenty of time I suggest you can see it because it is definitely worth watching, although maybe not for kind under 13, they would probably find it boring?So go to the cinema with friends or family or both and catch it there or on DVD or like today?s generation through internet. Overall I?ll give Australia 7 out of 10 diamonds!

However that's another topic. Now back to Kristin, The directors chose her perfectly! I mean, she handled the techniques => martial art moves very well. I was,myself, very impressed and pleased.

Now i cannot wait to to see more of her in the future!

It was a very imaginative movie and i liked the story however it wasn't brilliant as it could have been, which is quite a pity.
Otherwise i think it was good, a little boring at some times, good acting, nice soundtrack and lovely magical characters.

Overall i liked the movie a lot! Good, nice twist, however i would have liked to see what happen to his kids, like his son after the basket game and Maggie in college...

Gosh, I'm really disappointed. This was overall a bad movie. The songs were okay but the storyline and the END? wth!!!. Whatsoever i think this movie gets 3/10 since well it had some ups.

Wow, i have no idea about what to tell about this movie.... it was.... so damn good, but scary. For the first time in my life.........i think...........i can accept this kind of ending to the movie.

Okay okay back to the review. During Rob's Farewell party in NY.
NY is attacked by some creature. I think it must be government property or Alien invasion. Nevertheless many people died = many characters and Hud the guy who during the party has an assignment to document the whole evening, practically did. He filmed everything. the running the turbulence and yeah everything from his perspective. So you could clearly see the difference. By saying difference i mean From a Party to a battle field of life and death.
The movie kinda reminds me of The Mist, which was about a fog coming into town and whoever walked into the fog never came back since the Fog had been created by the Government who somehow had open different dimensions and unleashed creatures who liked the taste of human blood. Creepy but you could understand that that wasn't a "real movie" but Clover field.. Woah, the whole movie filmed from a videocamera changed the whole perspective of the film. I mean it looked real and well......i don't think i'm gonna watch it again lmao.

The first time I saw this movie I was on an air plane and around 15 years old. And I didn't really understand the storyline since it was kind of a 'bumpy ride' with sleeping and food and other things. But just now I saw it together with family and I could follow the story in a much better way and it turned out to be much better than the 6 points i gave it now it deserves an 8 out of 10.

I don't know where to start... this movie must be or IS one of the greatest movies ever made and I've seen in MY LIFE... I'm speechless and soo filled with emotions and feelings.... So much power and so powerful. The fact that its based on a true story makes you even more amazed.
You get to follow the story from beginning to end in a way that is so unique and interesting and its just... outstanding! Another thing about the movie is that it wasn't just about football and black/white people; it was soo much more; such as leadership, spirit, beliefs, values, cooperation, unity, power, future and the list goes on. All this was shown with such depth that its just a phenomenal/outstanding/XLNT/Mindblowing movie which everyone should see - strongly recommended for everyone!

Plot:
Matt Campbell has a serious cancer in his body and is submitted to a treatment in the hospital which lies in Connecticut. Dr. Brooks is the one responsible for the trials and advises that if Matt starts seeing thing he should be informed and the treatment will stop.
Matt's mother is, from where we can see, very religious and drives for almost 8 hours from her house to the hospital with her son. The reason until why it takes 8 hours is because Matt has nausea and needs to vomit during the travel. She soon realises that Matt cannot take the travelling to and from the hospital so they must move closer to the hospital, she proposes this to her husband Peter who has trouble with booze and gets drunk. They decide to rent a house in Connecticut despite their second mortgage. Sara Campbell (the mum) finds an old and affordable house with a descent price and the asks the owner of the house about the catch and the owner explains that "the house has a history", since it was a funeral home in the past.
This Sara doesn't tell Peter about and the family moves into the house.

When Matt goes to his treatments he befriends himself with another man Reverend Popescu who also suffers with cancer.
Ever since Matt moved into the house he has had weird visions and nightmares from the past, he calls Reverend and asks for his help. Reverend comes over and tells him that an evil entity is trapped in the house and that they (Matt & Reverend) are able to see him/them b/c they are in the borderline of the worlds of the living and the dead. When Reverend removes Jonah's relics from the house the souls in the house releases their rage. Will the family survive out of the house alive?

I personally think that this was a good story. Great ghost story and the definitely worth watching if you like to scare the sh*t out of yourself. The music was also very appropriate and as I said in the previous entry this isn't for sensitive people. If you don't like blood, creepy music and a deadly good ghost story - go watch another movie. This is simply not for you! But i thought the movie was great, it reminded me of the movie "The Messengers" with Kristen Stewart (known as Bella from the Twilight-books/movie.).
What I personally love about this movie is that it wasn't predictable and that was a huge relief. The 'surprises' came when you least expected it and the fact that mum and papi popped up every now and then made yourself to almost fly out of the bed lol. But hey, this movie was cool! So my recommendation is 15+ not for kiddos/children, those over 15 years will be able to handle this amazing movie and maybe even get a good night's sleep

8/10, I kinda lost my interest in the movie when everyone started to talk about it, so i asked after a couple of weeks ppls personal reviews of the movie and there my hopes sank, that the movie had classical "oh no,oh no oh.... NOOOO......YEEEEEEEES! WIIHOOO"- scenes.
But then tonigh i thought... "i got 3 hours b4 bedtime, let's watch a movie, and i found 2012 and watched it"
It was actually a lot more interesting than I thought and I gave it 8 out of 18 because of cool effects, whose scenes where they barely made it, the "reality-feeling" and a funny thing is that the movie Waterworld from 1995 says the same about the earth being flooded...but heeeey, let's not spoil that movie anymore!

I recommend ppl to see Waterworld (1995) as another interesting movie, when the poles of Earth melted causing the continents to go undersea and making every greenery as much worth and values as gold!

Wow...i don't know where to begin....the movie was fantastic, although i wish that my city had the IMAX-thing so that you could have experienced the 3D effects, but the movie was great!..... the Na'vis were amazing and the colours and the creation and world Pandora was beautiful!

Wow, watching Terminator Salvation during midnight between the 23 and 24th of December is memorial, lmao.
There was a hell of a lot of action and the stunts were awesome. It's simply wow-ing and the music is also very good. But some features confuses me and intereferes with the previous Terminator movie, but overall i think we can oversee that because the movie was d*mn good and for any Terminator-Fan (me included) SHOULD watch this.

the second follow up of Twilight by Stephanie Meyer about the young Bella and Edward.
I myself have read the novel and it was not as good as the first but acceptable however the movie missed some of the "best" parts, For example when she says that Jacob is her sun.... but the acting from all of the characters was great! the music choice was xlnt and i watched this around midnight, pitch black and the whole thing with the wolves was also superb and can't say that i love it but i liked it a lot and this is definitely a must for those you have read the book and are twilight fans (OFC)

and I'll rate it 7/10 though....there was something missing but you can overlook that whatsoever I'll have to watch this movie again mostly because I liked it^^

Cute movie, about a nerd falling in love with the school's princess, saves her from drowning to later find out that she is moving to Singapore with her dad 7 years later he's still in love with Alisha aka Priyanka Chopra. Now here comes the twist, for 7 years he has been developing a software which is stolen by Varon aka Dino Morea. He tavels to Singapore alone leaving his dad.
There he somehow ends up as being Alisha's daughter's Nanny and there from the movie goes on. :)

Surprisingly better than I expected, enjoyed the movie a lot. It had a lot of comedy/laughter, "red thread", and an insight!
Heads up for people who like American football with a basket full of Cons, highly entertaining :P

One word - CUTE! I can't recall how the movie was the first time i saw it so I mostly remembered small clips from everywhere and never the whole movie as a whole. But yesterday i saw it and it was so cute^^

Proud to be a Hindu! Saw this movie in the worlds largest iMAX DOOM cinema in NY. It was awesome and seriously this movie is AMAZING!
yet there is a very minor error here in flixster about the film namely that this movie was made in 2003 but released in 2005. and how do i know that? Well because my uncle helped to produce it, oh yeah!
This movie was like i said Awesome, mindblowing, touching, emotive, concise, beautiful and very teaching, definitely a must for people who like to see cultures, learn stories, understand humanity and the Hindu culture.

I love it love it love it. This is a sweet funny exciting movie which is *PERFECT* so families with kids and for those who like to spend their time on quality movies! The whole 99 minutes didn't lose the excitement and kept the viewer alert and "active" all the way.
Toothless was so adorable and their friendship-bond (Hiccup & Night Fury) was very cute - kinda like the one between Lilo and Stitch, you know the blue creature who got adopted by a girl (Lilo) - Disney Pixar movie i think it was^^.
Moreover I thought that the background music was really an effort. It was really the one that should be there - just amazing!
So the movie was a blast, 10 out of 10! I enjoyed it and laughed several times even though i might be too old for this kind of movie. But i gotta say it again - I love it!

ps, sometimes though, it reminded me about Avatar... then Hiccup was riding Toothless... or what do you say? Check out the movie and give me your point of view...

I have no word it was a touching and very inspiring movie about a man who only had obstacles but chose to be happy and get up and move forward. There were many times that you felt like, Now what? How will he deal with this - quiet unbelievable that someone can be for unfortunate but still somehow tackle it and reach the top.
This movie is definitely worth seeing over and over again.

Wow, is the word i have for Alice in Wonderland. What a great movie, which you should not miss to see. Highly Recommended. 10/10.

What I love mostly is the reversed meaning, the foreshadowing and the part where thing we believe is good, suddenly turns evil... see it's reversed.
The Director Tim Burton have made a masterpiece, I totally loved the movie all the way and I think that i most certainly will watch it again.
However I was frankly surprised to see that they chose Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. BUT what an acting coming from Helene Bonham, i'm speechless. Her interpretation of the Red Queen was flawless.
The movie overall was XLNT!

This movie went waaay over my expectations! It was freaking great! I love Hit Girl, d*mn that girl got an awesome attitude.
It was an excellent movie! Great plot, dorky, cute, real, silly and yet very real. You don't have to have super powers to make a change, just start with one thing at the time and make a change... "look at the man in the mirror"
Worth watching if you like comedy mixed with action, great lines, geekyness and romance ;)

HOWEVER, the music was great! The flashbacks great, the setting GREAT, the fighting MA-styles, bl**dy awesome!
Overall the movie deserves 6 out of 10.

This movie had many flaws and that was a shame but overall the movie was EPIC. Background music superb, acting impressive, the water scenes great, Kraken was relly scary which is awesome and I think it was a GREAT movie! 9/10 because of the inconvenient message ex: Perseus IS the son of Poseidon.

Grade: 7/10 don't see this movie if you're sensitive to blood.
Comment: Wow, it was worth the wait and Danny Boyle has done it again, by creating a dead on target movie. Everything about it was great the scenes and it was easy to follow, however the movie is NOT recommended to people who are sensitive to blood and reality based reactions. I felt a little bit at unease since the scenes were so intense. So this is a great movie and should definitely be seen. What triggers one even more is that it is actually based on a real life event and James Franco did a stunning job!

How to approach a situation from a guy's and a girl's perspective. Can't recall all the details but the movie refreshed some of the memories. The movie isn't in anyway mind blowing, it is simply cute, taking you back in time, as if you are for one and a half hour went to the early 1960's. The way the people dressed, their hair, the "basket boys" ^^, the way a neighbourhood was etc. As for the actors the young Juli Baker caught my attention, she is played by Morgan Lily. Such a cutie. The movie has some sort of charm around it, just like the book had to me, the actors played their part very well and lived up to their characters in an amazing way. I don't want complain or add anything to the movie, it was complete and satisfying and I enjoyed every second of it. Pure, Simple, Cute, Innocent, Touching, Emotional, Childish yet completely Magical.
I would recommend families, friends to get a blanket, a hot cup of chocolate a teddy and watch this movie. It is recommended for people who needs to take a step back and just relax because the movie is definitely worth the watch :)

Comment: So worth it, watching the Tourist instead of Megamind. It was a cute, soft movie, very short though. Had a very comedy scenes and Johnny Depp is playing awesomely. The movie has great clothes, locations, but it is somehow not satisfying. What makes the movie give you the feeling of unsatisfactorily is that it lacked emotions and feelings. The kissings were just like "yeah we need a kiss here."
Whatsoever Johnny Depp running around in pyjamas on the roof is just hilarious! :P

Anyways the movie was great and I'm so not going to read the novels since I've been warned that if I like the movie I should strongly not read the books.

COMMENT: WOW, Possible one of the best movies I've seen in my life and I can even say that it beats Avatar's storyline. I mean even though it was not English (but with sub) the movie was g-r-e-a-t. The actors were great. Just the savageness was mind blowing and the harmony and the connection was powerful. What caught my attention and made me give it a 10 if because of its very unusual story, its is truly intense, and filled with action, I mean I watched 40 min of him being chased and I gotta tell that IT WAS WORTH IT! The excitement and thrill which the movie radiates is unbelievable and you want to know "what is gonna happen? and unlike other movies with the character(s) doing the final epic end - this movie keeps going so it is very different yet somehow familiar.

This movie is NOT recommended for people under 18 and FORBIDDEN för CHILDREN! DAD MUM DON'T LET YOUR KID WATCH THIS! Because of its many violent scenes. However if you are serious about watching a quality movie you should MOST DEFINITELY watch APOCALYPTO!

Comment 2: This movie hit my top favourite list really fast. I know it was a little late to see it but better late than never. I will personally see this movie again, it was too good and I didn't quite expect James Marsden to be in it but he was and did an excellent job. As for the other actors the acting, emotions and the role play was amazing. Ryan and Rachel's chemistry was unbelievable and it is a truly great movie. It doesn't contain the predictable event but it balances sad and happy, old young, factors out. I don't know what to say more than this is a masterpiece!

PLOT:In a small Indian village Mandwa, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) is taught by his principled father about the path of fire - Agneepath. His life is completely shattered when the evil drug dealer Kancha (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father to death. Vijay leaves for Bombay with his pregnant mother and has only one mission in life- to come back to Mandwa and bring back the glory of his father's name. In Bombay, 12-yr-old Vijay is taken under the wings of the city gang lord Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor). From then on it is a journey of revenge where he makes and breaks many relationships only to get closer to his aim. Vijay finds support only in his best friend Kaali (Kaali), who stands by him at every moment in his life. Fifteen years later his hatred for Kancha takes him back to Mandwa where life comes full circle.
GRADE: 9/10 Amazing remake of the movie from 1990
COMMENT: Okay for starters, i loved every second of the movie, the emotions were so real and the action was bloody awesome :P Best bolly movie i've seen in a long in the genre of action! The only thing that kinda took away that golden 10 in rating was that last part, a little unrealistic when he gets a a knife in his back, and then to his liver... where and how did he get the strength to hang Kancha..... otherwise Karan Johar you just made a super duper movie! Almost topped the original in every effing way! I salute!
