BLOOD.SAMURAI.GORE

DAVID FINCHER AT HIS VERY BEST,AN ELECTRIFYING CULT !
Fight Club is a mayhem, mischief, and a excessive display of controversiality, even words cannot describe how big this movie is.Fight Club is without no doubt,a masterpiece,a cult classic, and one the best movie ever made.
Why?
First.
Fight Club contains a heavy satire in a form of social commentary, commenting a lot of thing we're going through in this life.
"We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war?our Great Depression is our lives."
Fight Club also breaks a lot of social barriers and stand up as it's own,as A bold and hypnotizing movie. As seen as in this line,
You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. We are the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.
"Tyler Durden"
SEE?
Second.
Edward Norton as the narrator, narrates us through the story, with his best performance ever.Without any hesitation,Edward Norton's performance is maybe the most distinctive yet skillful performance in the cult department .
Meanwhile,Brad Pitt as Tyler Durden,by far the most influential character ever made, and the strongest performance by Brad Pitt in his entire career.Tyler Durden is madly took my attention from the very second he appeared in my screen.Along with that buff body, that flair, that enormous appeal, and that solid charisma,Brad Pitt IS Tyler Durden. And when an actor transformed entirely to the character they preserved, that's what so called a masterpiece.Brad Pitt exhibited a massive charm and such an acting quality.A brilliant performance delivered by Brad Pitt.
And third,we can't forget the rests of the cast,Helena Bonham Carter,as the eccentric Marla Singer, also Meat Loaf, and Jared Leto, are equally breathtaking and no less disturbing. And David Fincher, for his brilliant directing, and thanks to him,for brought this brilliant piece of revolution to this earth, which rocks extremely hard.
So,prepare your seat and fasten your seat belt, and enjoy the 2 hours that maybe your most surreal "orgasm" you may have with a movie!
Remember!
Rules of Fight Club:
1.You do not talk about Fight Club.
2.The second rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club.
3.Someone yells 'stop', goes limp, taps out, the fight is over.
4.Only two guys to a fight.
5.One fight at a time, fellas.
6.No shirts, no shoes.
7.Fights will go on as long as they have to. 8.If this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.
American Beauty is simply the most provocative movie Hollywood could possibly ever made.A 1000X zoom to American Post-Card Family.
American Beauty is combined this very naked truth with the stunning essentials, making this movie not only a provocative movie but also a rare fascination to eyes.It also translated desperation into the next level, the plot was grown superbly into the perfect mix of drama, comedy, and satire.Brilliant!
Beautifully acted, well made, and as sharp as razor. And American Beauty has proven in order to make a powerful movie, you dont need troops, soldiers, and epic proportions, with just a little taste of satire story, and good director, this beauty was made.

TAXI DRIVER HAS OFFICIALLY PROVEN THAT OSCAR IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS MOVIE!
Taxi Driver took a tragic look inside a man's lonesome heart, and what man capable of doing in most depressing situation.Travis Bickle,is a lonely, impotent, insomniac Taxi Driver in New York City, whose pains, loneliness, rejection is translated into this utterly disturbing, paranoia movie.
Taxi Driver,is a nightmare for everyone that is,evokes all the emotion brilliantly into it's masterpiece camera work, and it's marvelous acting, from the heartwarming opening scene to the climactic shooting scenes, which brilliantly shot from above.
Scorsese, wants the audience to feel all the darkness this movie exudes, and it didn't fail a second.Every second of this movie is a strike hit, dark, creep, and thrilling.
As for me,Taxi Driver is the most powerful and controversial movie in the history of American Cinema, and triumphant for it's archievement in filmmaking and gritty realism.
All the animals come out at night - whores, skunk pussies, buggers, queens, fairies, dopers, junkies, sick, venal. Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets. I go all over. I take people to the Bronx, Brooklyn, I take 'em to Harlem. I don't care. Don't make no difference to me. It does to some. Some won't even take spooks. Don't make no difference to me."

AN EXPRESSION OF LOVE IN THE MOST DAZZLING BRAINSPINNER EVER
A TRAGIC WALK INTO HUMAN'S BRAIN IN THE MOST DAZZLING CUT AND TWIST,with the condiments of alluring and groundbreaking CGI.Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind is a brilliant pictures of particular person who took a unique journey into his own brain in a flashback.
The story is genuinely twisted, and strike a hit.Eternal Sunshine is a psychological drama, with a magnificent visual flair, tremendously tender story, and inevitable writing, making it's the most imaginative and the most tender odyssey a man can have with their own mind.
Eternal Sunshine take a loop from Joel's mind,a character that worth a standing ovation for Jim Carrey. While, the other casts are equally breathtaking in their own romance neuroses and dysfunctional relationship of each other.
Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind is successfully bring a complicated maze without any gap,and completely make sense from the very first second.Eternal Sunshine is a bold, engaging, and generally off the rationality. It is a lavish work of art with every bit of joy and boldness,as it's creativity shall last a long time.
From the second,Baz Luhrmann launched the dazzling Moulin Rouge, and MTV-ish Romeo+Juliet,I can't find another director that literally describe my taste of movie except him.And after Australia's buzz surfaced,Australia officially became my most anticipated movie of 2008,more than The Dark Knight and Revolutionary Road combined. And the stake is high up in the air.
So,what happened?A powerful epic that previewing Australia's outback beauty,Luhrmann's style, and an exquisite acting ensemble, juiced into 5 moving storyline (Murder case, racism, conspiracy, love, and war).
As for me,Australia had already fulfill what I expected, epic set, romantic story, and larger-than-life presentation of Baz Luhrmann creativity. And again, for 3 hours,Luhrmann successfully amazed me,and adressing this movie and it's complication into a full stop. And I'll be damned if Australia did not make the cut for this year Oscar,at least, for it's technical superiority.

A BLOODY DARK REVENGE STORY,MASTERPIECE IN VISUAL ENCHANTMENT,AS WELL AS IN CUTTING-THROAT AND BAKING HUMAN PIE!
Sweeney Todd : The Demon Barber of Fleet Street probably is the musical that didn't occur any gay dancing numbers at all, otherwise,Sweeney Todd is a musical contains explicit exposure of brutality, and massive amount of blood.
Burton's theatrical drawing on the old London is the most breathtaking one, after Luhrman's Moulin Rouge.Burton personified London into this utterly dark industrial vibe-town,along with Burton's essential style, which means magnificent cinematography, and super-lavish production set.
With Sweeney Todd,Tim Burton has officially conquered the world of musical, with his own impersonation.Sweeney Todd, played by Johnny Depp,is an essential Tim Burton character.Dark, gritty, and haunting. And with Depp's touch,Sweeney Todd is never running out of his charisma.Depp's astounding impersonation of Todd, goes along with the supporting casts.
Helena Bonham-Carter,as Mrs.Lovett,in the other hand,is a cleansweep, emphatizing Lovett with a really dark vibe to it.Along with Sacha Baron Cohen and Alan Rickman, they make a solid supporting lineup.
With archievements from every degree,is it too excessive to say that Sweeney Todd is the best musical of all time?Probably yes.But for sure,Burton has served us the musical masterpiece that we've been waiting for,a very dark masterwork, that set a musical to the most haunting.A haunting, and extremely terrorizing musical yet a larger than life work of art for it's extraordinary visual wonderment, and it's dazzling numbers.
They all deserve to die. Tell you why, Mrs. Lovett, tell you why! Because in all of the whole human race, Mrs. Lovett, there are two kinds of men and only two. There's the one staying put in his proper place and one with his foot in the other one's face. Look at me, Mrs Lovett! Look at you! No, we all deserve to die... Even you, Mrs Lovett, even I! Because the lives of the wicked should be made brief. For the rest of us death will be a relief. We all deserve to die... And I'll never see Johanna, no I'll never hug my girl to me... FINISHED!
With the right song and dance, you can get away with murder.

Renee Zellweger,as Roxie Hart, sparkles with her gigantic dazzling star persona, ressurected Roxie Hart character to the sexiest, and the most glamorous as it can be.
Catherine Zeta-Jones,as Velma Kelly, undoubtly a surefire shot for the Oscar that year, she kicked away her pregnant woman status, and become this embodiment of a mean-singer-murderer,with a marvelous stage presence and perfect timing.
And all the supporting casts got their own moment,Queen latifah got her moment while singing "When You're Good to Mama",John C.Reily with his comic-adaptation of "Mr.Cellophane".Richard Gere is also coming along the way,he delivered spectacular moments,as well as his spectacular acting.

You can like the life you're living, you can live the life you like. You can even marry Harry, but mess around with Ike.
Burton's Big Fish is a features full of whimsical imaginary creatures and an exquisite tales, which attacks every childlikeness in people's soul, and make it completely believable and truly honest.Big Fish is a amazing adventure also a ride of joy, with it's every magnificent details.
Burton and Elfman, once again, brought a story so impeccable,so everyone can relate to it without feeling ashame nor skeptical to this utterly engaging tales.Big Fish revolves around man's peculiar imagination, which tore down his relationship with his own son.And along with father-son reunionship, the film unravels father's life story, which being so unbelievably fancy, more dreamlike.
The story of Edward Bloom,is more of a pack of grandiose extravaganza than a biopic tales. And similar like all Burton's movie, this film packed with wonderful scenes, and poetic string of scores.
And despite all the fanciness of this movie,I discovered more, the true essence of this story.Big Fish is a story of a family, not so filled with trust, and how they can ended up with trusting one another, and how's story so unbelievable can be a story of man's life. The true essence of this movie is about believing dreams, the same way with Will Bloom, who discovered his dad's dreams lies within a true stories.
Big Fish is is an embodiment of man's life story, whether fact or fiction. With magical illumination spread along the way,but in the end,all we got to do,is just believe.Big Fish is a movie larger than the story itself,a standing ovation for Burton and his amazing talents behind or in front-of the camera.
Warm.Dazzling.Captivating yet so enchanting, without questioning the intellegence of the audience.BRILLIANT!

AS EXTRAVAGANT AS SHE IS,A PROPER BIOPIC FOR WORLD'S QUEEN OF STYLE !
Marie Antoinette is known for her symbolization of the word "Extravagant",and this movie put the capital E in that word.
Marie Antoinette is a medieval tale of teenage fragility, and adolescent juvenile. And with Sofia Coppola's directing,Marie Antoinette never lost a moment of never-ending loneliness, and it's charm in terms of lavish clothes, and ultimately,it's ravishing period set.
Coppola's portrayal of this teen-queen,is close to perfection.Kirsten,Dunst,as the title role, did her role perfectly,as a fragile teenager who trapped in the boredom of formality, and dysfunctional marriage. In the hands of Dunst,Marie Antoinette,is a brittle queen.Kirsten Dunst's done it with flair, and high sense of self-indulgent.
With few lines and lead actors,Coppola manages to translate the story with irresistable score, magnificent production set, poise graphic, and beautiful shots.Allowed the complete access of Versailles, and it's formal routine, the film portrayed Marie Antoinette as glamorous and as delicious as it can be.While,Marie Antoinette rocking those shoes, and trying on her new wigs, greatly mixed Aaron Carter's "I Want Candy" played in the background.Added a spoon of sugar in this historic tale, brilliant!
Afterall,it's charm and it's gigantic audio-visual archievement, set Marie Antoinette apart from other biopic. The most extravagant biopic ever,a brilliant mix of pop-culture and historical period piece, with extremely sweet food and couture!
Remember you represent the future and nothing is certain about your place there until the final physical act to crown the Franco-Austrian alliance is performed.
The Matrix is a hardcore masterpiece from the hand of the genious,The Wachowskis. The Matrix is full of virtually amazing graphic,a groundbreaking imaging,an alluring flash of pictures, and endless action sequences.
The story of The Matrix is a mixture of buddhism, Greek mythology, and - predominantly - the Christian gospel. The story itself interfaced to the audience with brilliant script amunition and held a certain fascination from the entire casts.Keanu Reeves is perfectly fitted into his role-of-a lifetime,as Neo,The One,who symbolize The Messiah.Carrie-Anne Moss played Trinity, with such a grace and charisma, Lawrence Fishburne is simply an icon as Morpheus, while Hugo Weaving's role,Agent Smith, still remains as my most 'assholic' villain ever.
The Matrix is the greatest Sci-Fi movie of all time, and will remains as it is.A monumental work of art,the most stylish film of all time. And The Matrix itself is already symbolize a perfection of art.
The Matrix is simply a masterpiece,an iconic first installment of the greatest sci-fi trilogy of all-time,comfortably sit next to Terminator and Star Wars.
"No one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself."
A very good movie about friendship, belief, dreams, and brotherhood.Son of Rambow, which also a rememberance of 80's,is undoubtly a indie masterpiece.
As well as many moments were delivered,Son of Rambow also remind us about a simple tales whereabouts a little kids who simply addicted to the movie "Rambo", made a spoof of Rambo movie itself. And in this times where kids love to spend their time with High School Musical and Hannah Montana,Son of Rambow was considered as a bloody diamond based on the important messages about family and friendship also the way it's portraying the childhood in the most delicate way.
Yes,Son of Rambow is a great portrayal about childhood etc.But what's greater is how Garth Jennings made this film utterly beliavable, what the critics called,"At least it's better than what Sylvester Stallone's doing now."
The two lead actors were completely adorable and insanely genius, and the total of the two performances sum up better than what Stallone did in all Rambo movies,as for me.
So what not to love about this movie.Clever, witty, offbeat, and imaginative. We can find a million things great things in this movie, but most importantly,in Rambow,we treasured a genius talents in acting, and an upcoming screenwriter and directors, who has a fantastic imagination, and destined to be a movie-genious.
A 102 minutes of laugh, cry, loneliness, creep, feeling aside, and friendship.Lost In Translation took you inside this simple beautiful story of friendship, that you can find even in the most unpredictable circumstances.Crafted with beautiful(BEAUTIFUL-i meant it) directing, poise graphic, and a grand score. The acting,Scarlett and Bill Murray blended in and create a very strong emotional bonds.Lost In Translation is soothing little movie for your mind, body and soul and believe me, no word for the ending except SPECTACULAR.

REVIEW
Arisan! is a bold story about the hypocrites and how they conquered the metropolitan.Arisan! is basically about the lives of several upperclass, thirty something Jakartans, whose truth hide within the masks.
Arisan! reveals a splendor yet hypocritical life of the cosmopolitans. Also set the film as the heavy satire of hedonism and the rich.Storywise,Arisan! tackle the taboo, and flip the conflict into this amusing 2 hours movie that surprisingly stunned Washington viewers, and not getting enough of the controvesial themes,Nia Dinata cut this movie with dazzling camera work, and hit the notch with unique score. The movie is a full package of entertainment, comedy, and satire, bringing sex, money, and friendship to the fullest.
Nia Dinata,as the director successfully translated the word "Arisan" as a provoking metaphor of the life of the hypocrites, the same way they gathered together and pretend that everything is perfect,in a stop called Arisan.
At the end,Arisan is a magnificent Indonesian movie without being pretentious, completely honest, and fight the stereotypes. The movie also successful to make a mark left somewhere in people's mind, simply mirroring the life of the society itself. And with Nia Dinata clever cut and marvelous directing, also it's moisture cinematography and witty script,Arisan is irresistably powerful and glorious Indonesia movie.
Arisan! is my official pick for the best Indonesian movie ever,as we may call it "THE INDONESIAN MASTERPIECE",with proud and dignity, the same reason with why I reserved a place for this movie in my top movies.
" Im Happy!"
MeiMei
*)Arisan : An event when socialites and upperclass gather together.
High-high above my expectation, this movie is hardly entertaining and just raw, this movie showed up with a brilliant idea and a whole rockstar backstage pass that youve never seen before, and like the critics said,'Almost Famous Rocks!'.

A VERY POWERFUL MOVIE,DROWNS AUDIENCE INTO A MEDIUM WHOSE DARKNESS HIT AT ANY LEVEL
THE REVIEW
Mystic River is NO DOUBT,CLINT EASTWOOD ALL TIME BEST,and the most accomplished film in years, great script, beautifully acted ,and visually groundbreaking.Mystic River is a modern-day masterpiece whose sheer performances by all actors,a memorial should be built for their acting.A grandeur exposure of dark-thriller,hit at any level, and extremely haunting at the first very second.
Mystic River is the best thriller in years.Clint built a movie with the story so deceiving which it's plot is lies within another,a twisting mischief-behaviour from all the different perspective,a father, killer's eye, killer's wife, and the cops. The story also share a past-friendship story which trigger the main problem,in addition of a surprising false-accusation at the very end.Mystic River is a great thriller with every twist in the exact time they needed, and have characters, that developed so vast, they gave me hard time.
Sean Penn,is worth for every penny of his Oscar,a haunting and heartbreakingly brilliant performance.Tim Robbins,as Dave,is equally heart-snobbing with his remarkable acting.Laura Linney and Marcia Gay Harden both delivers a knock-out performances.Marcia Gay Harden provides us the most haunting and heartbreaking yet terrorizing performance in the picture,a truly powerful performance by Marcia Gay Harden.
Mystic River make a full circle of tragic story, false suspection, and a casting-knock out.Mystic River also a triumph for Eastwood,a tragic impersonation of a story in a very very dark sphere, and someway,a cinema classic.
"THE DEPARTED CELEBRATES THE RETURN OF MARTIN SCORSESE ! "
To watch a story that built with high-complexity and so deceiving from the very beginning to the jaw-dropping ending where everybody's dead, including Billy Costigan who deserves his happy ending, and foolishly dead in the very last second, is like riding a gigantic nerve-twisting rollercoaster with big loops along the way.The Departed is a modern-day Scorsese's masterpiece. After gained triumphant with all-time-best-movies like Goodfellas,Raging Bull, and Taxi Driver,Martin Scorsese cameback in the BIG way, also shows the world that he's still Martin Scorsese he used to be,a grand architect to a movie like Taxi Driver, but apparantly from now on,the new-generation of audience will know him as Martin "The Departed" Scorsese,as the legacy of this movie continue with the Oscar's "The Best Picture" in his hands. The acting is no less breathtaking,Leonardo DiCaprio, who plays Billy Costigan,is in his best performance in a long while,Matt Damon, who plays Colin Sullivan also balanced Leonardo's strong performance as the bad guy, meanwhile,is it really appropriate to question Jack Nicholson himself in this movie?Again,a role to prove the world that he's a master-class acting machine, this time as,Frank Costello,an unpredictable mafia-boss,even in his brightest smile.Wahlberg,in his Oscar-nominated role, always be the SCENESTEALER everytime he appears in the screen, and the other one that barely took my attention is Vera Farmiga, who nailed her performance as both Sullivan's and Costigan's love interest. Beside the breathtaking acting ensemble,The Departed also has enough tension to rock your nerves, grandly twisted and definitely a modern-day crime classic. Martin Scorsese re-declared his place in the tight-race of world's greatest film-maker,and we,the audience, have a blast after leaving the cinema! A crime-classic.
Forrest Gump is truly magical, the most big-hearted movie I've ever seen in my whole life.It is heartwarming, passionate, sentimental, touching and miraculously dragged me to see through the eyes of Forrest Gump, the role only for Tom Hanks,it's like Hanks was born to play Forrest Gump.Forrest Gump is pretty much inspired me a lot,in low I-Q,Forrest Gump still can archieve what most people can't archieve, and can do what most people can't do,he was a bliss of magic.Forrest Gump is life-changing movie to everyone, including me.A true work of art,and will be remembered forever as it's inspire much people and let people chase their dreams no matter what the lacks they have.As they can see in Forrest Gump.A touching movie where everybody even the most skeptical person on this earth can relate to.
"I am not a smart man, but I know what love is." Forrest Gump
" THANK YOU FOR SMOKING IS THE SMARTEST WAY TO CONVINCE US THAT SMOKING IS COOL. "
Before,Me,personally, think that smoking is gross, but what after watching this movie?Guess what, now I think smoking is utterly cool.Yes,Thank You For Smoking is the smartest way to convince us that smoking is cool.Thank You For Smoking is the most hard-hitting satire in a long time, and it will left you with a little more intelegence after watching this movie.Aaron Eckhart is way brilliant for playing this role, funny yet extremely convincing.
Witty, clever, and entertaining. Not to say the brilliant performances by Jodie,Denzel, and Clive, making this movie flawlessly intense.Definitely a hell ride of entertainment.Bravo!

Theatrical version of the television series based on Candace Bushnell's book "Sex and the City," which chronicles the sexy exploits of New Yorkers. After moving in together in an impossibly beautiful New York apartment, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big make a rather arbitrary decision to get married. The wedding itself proves to be anything but a hasty affair--the guest list quickly blooms from 75 to 200 guests, and Carrie's simple, label-less wedding gown gives way to an enormous creation that makes her look like a gigantic cream puff. An upcoming photo spread in Vogue puts the event--which will take place at the New York Public Library--squarely in the public eye. Meanwhile, Carrie's girlfriends--Samantha, the sexpot; Charlotte, the sweet naïf; and Miranda, the rigid perfectionist--could not be happier. At least, they couldn't be happier for Carrie. Charlotte still has the unrealized hope of getting pregnant. Samantha is finding a loving, committed relationship more grueling than she could have imagined. Miranda unwittingly lets her own unhappiness--created when Steve admits to cheating on her just once--spoil Carrie's. After a heated encounter with Steve, she happens to spot Mr. Big and tells him he's crazy to get married. She's really only thinking of her own marriage. But her angry remark gets Mr. Big to thinking.
A HIT CINEMA SHOW!
It's not much to say, when it comes to my beloved characters on the TV screen, and SATC:The Movie put an icing on the cake for the series itself. As always,The SATC girls are never losing out their fun.And in the movie,we can find all we wanted,an always adorable narration,a fast-witty script, and it's irresistible clothes.
For the fan,it certainly was a magnificent treat from the TV show, and for the non-believer,it still clearly a perfect romantic comedy.
1 The script, hands down.Michael Patrick King is actually has a story to tell. He's throwing a grand homage to the TV show,by writing it's inescapable great script, and few brilliant lines. The script was a knock-out hit from the movie, certainly.
2 In terms of story development,SATC:The Movie was a complete reminiscing experience back in the old days. The story was utterly fresh and the narrative by Sarah Jessica Parker is still remains adorable and heartwarming.
3 What more entertaining for the fans than watching all four girls re-team in one frame again?Despite all the exhaustion it took to bring back all the girls,Carrie,Miranda,Charlotte, and Samantha are back in their best shape ever. With Patricia Field and New York's Backdrop,I can't imagine anything that more delicious.
4 Watching SEX & The City : The Movie is like watching 3 episodes back to back, which is the best way to entertain fans. What's more exciting than see 3 episodes, with large screen and dolby surround sound.
So,after four years gap,is Sex & The City : The Movie worth to buy?The answer is YES!The Movie revisited all the old school charm, has vast character development, and even more flashy clothes, and panorama. We want it,then they gave it the best.
"It's the last single girl kiss. " Carrie Bradshaw
By first, this is not a typical Will Ferrell comedy that usually dumb, and full of slapstick.Clever plot, brilliant script, and slick acting,by all cast incl. Will Ferrell(the one that you don't expect to balance Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson), make this movie unforgettable, imaginative yet heartmelting,
"We each owe a death, there are no exceptions, I know that, but sometimes..."

The Green Mile, one movie that I wish is based from true story,Green Mile drag me into the estrange world where miracle happens.Miraculous.Compelling. and Oddly Mindblowing. The Green Mile, therefore,is a long journey, hours of a magical sphere and smart-plotted story, and for 3 hours-duration,every second in this movie counts as a hit.
As the first second goes, the story of Green Mile has already strike a quite hit.Well-plotted,magically-twisted,and beautifully written.Darabont has turned this piece from Stephen King down, brought the script into a 3-hours long movie where magic do realize.
Despite Tom Hanks Oscar's snub, which disturbed me so bad while I was watching this movie because it's like every actors in Green Mile coulda shoulda woulda win an oscar statuettes, the one that should get an extreme attention is Michael Clarke Duncan, who transformed his character into a non-other than a living-miracle,truly beautifully acted and pure acting masterpiece.
The Green Mile has accomplished a breakthrough also in the other department, such Cinematography,Set Archievement, and it's grandeur score. And it's not so hard to realize that Green Mile maybe the Best Book Adaptation ever,a brilliant piece of art,and one of the films we'll remember for it's sentimental depth and for making your heart tore apart.CLASSIC.

"WILD ESCAPADE AGAINST THE MOTHER NATURE...."
The Review
PEOPLE MADE CHOICE IN THEIR LIFE,some chose to stick to the society and work their ass to the system, and apparantly, this type of people had gave up their life. And the second type, someone chose to be different, challange the force of nature and remote from the society, from control, from parents, people whom masking themselves with their lie.And Christiopher Johnson McCandless is one of them, who decided to break free apart from the world, money, and control, whom life is magically translated into this beautiful photographed story that unravel the truth of an escapist.
Sean Penn, brought this poetry, with vision, put up such a story of heroic adventure in search of life,in the deepest way it could possibly be.Through Hirsch,Penn established this journey as our personal journey to Alaska.
Emile Hirsch,as McCandless,is a potrait of an idealist, denying the existence of humankind and it's civilization.Hirsch,is brought the character alive,to the core.A brilliant performance.
Into The Wild is a grand embodiment of whoever they want to portrait, and your ultimate ultimate journey to freedom.Into The Wild, actually,is the best movie of 2008,and unfortunately, why no one noticing?
Why should we waste our time - A grand portrayal of the very great life of McCandless,a hugely entertaining ride, and as I said, your personal journey through the river, the mountain, the hippies, and Alaska.
The 360 Spin - A great look of Alaska with a soulful performance by Emile Hirsch, groundbreaking, and unmissable!
"Rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness... give me truth."
In the last 3 days,i've watched in this movie 3 times in HBO,and i realized how dazzling it is.Memoirs of A Geisha is a beautiful portrayal of Japanese Culture and Beauty.Putting the dreamcast in the Asian platform, this movie capturing the beauty of the east in their best.
However,I think I can't really do a proper review when it's come to the greatest movie of all time,ME,a nobody, criticizing The Godfather,is a very undeserving act. So,all i can say,is the Godfather the best film ever?YES.

Speed Racer not only has proven how brilliant The Wachowskis are,but also a filmmaker who take risks, this time with Speed Racer. This time the Wachowskis experimenting with bright color, tacky shades, and fast-moving story. And how about the result?A masterpiece,an invention of a new way to making movies.Speed Racer is remarkable, and an instant classic.Anyway, for me,Speed Racer has already marked a place in 2008 Best Movies list.

EXTRAORDINAR-E MASTERPIEC-E!
After Finding Nemo, there's no animated feature that could encore my childlike credulity except Wall-E.Wall-E is a astonishing oxygen supply for our amigdala,a dazzling charmer, and a storytelling champion.Once again done so beautifully by Pixar Studios,Wall-E is a big triumphant for Disney, and a feature which almost impossible to top,an audio-visual masterpiece.
The story of Wall-E is never lose a second of charm in it's ticking second,he squeaked,he winked,he bleeped, and he have a big heart.Wall-E's relationship with Eve is simply irresistable, and remember, what so wrong about that? What they preserve is simply exquisitely turned beauty and beast relationship into what so called love, unconditional and without any bullshits, and isn't that so cliché?In this case,NO.
Pixar has accomplished a termendous victory with this one whatsoever.Pixar created what we call a "MASTERPIECE",an astounding visual grace, and a breakthrough in sound engineering. And like Charlie Chaplin's movies,Wall-E is a wordless masterpiece,Pixar has successfully captured every emotion perfectly with grandeur score and an beyond-words CGI,making Wall-E is a classic without any brilliant script involved. The story of Wall-E also a symbolize the gluttonies, which are the humans, conflicted the satire, that maybe in the future, robots might have a bigger heart than human themselves,as they can see in truly magical creature called,Wall-E,which so far is the most adorable made by Disney.
Wall-E is an engaging and enchanting story of the loner,a tragic masterpiece that will stay forever, which also involves a great human's vision, not only a animation razzle-dazzle nor brainless story.Wall-E is one of the greatest Pixar ever, and has received a countless praise from me,an animation that should be worshipped through time, side by side with Disney's classic, such as Mickey Mouse,Lion King, and Finding Nemo.Wall-E is a never-ending adventure full of wonder, wonderous visual amazement,a wonder charm by it?s mute cast, and unbearable enchantment of a outer-space experience. No doubt,Wall-E is a animation classic period.
Hugh jackman has given his most spectacular performance to this movie, and in the other side, another outstanding performance by rachel weisz. The story is deep, heartbreaking, and relieving.Well done!
In-One-Sentence : Welcome to the Meryl Streep's show!
Bigger Picture Andrea is a small-town girl in her first job out of college, who tries to navigate the waters of the high-powered fashion magazine world -- while surviving her impossibly demanding new boss, Miranda Priestly.
The Review : Devil Wears Prada,is a stunning real-adaptation,geniously portraying the well-known sadistic Vogue editor,Anna Wintour,in the form of Meryl Streep.Devil Wears Prada is so far so good,in almost 2 years of it's release, there's no film that could lift up such a charm from Manolo Blahnik,New York, and Fendi Bag,as it is. Devil Wears Prada is a divine comedy snack, with devilishly delicious Meryl Streep and true underdog story of fashion survivor,Andrea Sachs.
The Devil wears Prada catapulted Meryl Streep after her mischevious role in Manchurian Candidate,or else,Lemony Snickets,as The Queen of Comedy.Meryl Streep is made a show of her own,a full 2 hours of Miranda Priestly's yawn and impossible demand, which for us is an endless fun.She doesn't make Miranda Priestly so monstrous or else, she made the character sadistic from the inside instead, she played it cool, quiet, and striking as she blink her eye away. While,Anne Hathaway took a 180 turn from her performance in Princess Diaries, and from now on,who's Princess Mia Themopolis?Anne Hathaway IS Andrea Sachs ,a girl who can tamed down The Dragon Lady herself.
Another cleansweep from this movie is from screenwriter,Aline Brosh McKenna, who delightfully brought us into the fantasy world of The Devil Wears Prada, with ever-so-chic dialogue, like,"You sold your soul the day you put on that first pair of Jimmy Choo's!".The Screenwriter also chop down the story of Andrea's father, boyfriend, and personal life. And take us into the irresistible drama full of clever dialogue, and decent story of Andrea Sachs try to take down Miranda Priestly. The second-unnoticed cleansweep, is from Oscar-Nominee Patricia Field, the fabulous Costume Designer from Sex&The City, for brought a lavish parade of clothes and Jimmy Choo's in the movie.
Devil Wears Prada is almost sell in everything, the story, the clever script,well-developed characters, and the superticious parade of clothes and bags.Meryl Streep is guaranteed to bang you down as Miranda Priestly, the role that gave her 13th Oscar's nomination.Devil Wears Prada is Streep's show, and a great story about sex, lies, struggle, and fashion in very high-end way.An extremely delicious comedy.
The 360 Spin : Meryl Streep conquered the role down, hail The Queen!
