[waking up after sharing the same bed on the motel]
Neal: Del... Why did you kiss my ear?
Del: Why are you holding my hand?
Neal: [frowns] Where's your other hand?
Del: Between two pillows...
Neal: Those aren't pillows!
Hilarious and emotional at the same time...love the scene where they both notice the bed...and the one at the Car Rental Agency is absolutely hilarious..! A Classic..!
Mike Lowery: [singing] Bad boys, bad boys what ya gonna do? What ya gonna do when we come for you? [Marcus starts ad-libbing the first verse] Mike Lowery: Dude, you gotta learn the words. (Bad Boys 2)
Love the scene where Reggie comes to take Marcus daughter Megan out on a date
Mike Lowery: You ever made love to a man?
Reggie: No.
Mike Lowery: You want to?
Jake Gyllenhaal plays Donnie Darko brilliantly (by far the best performance I have seen by him) in this humorous, smart and highly original movie, which leaves you feeling exceptionally confused and sad.
After watching this, I could do nothing but constantly think and question the entire movie scene for scene continually I think ill be doing it for a while...hopefully not for the rest of my life.!
Harry: I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this.
Lloyd: I was thinking the same thing. That John Denver's full of shit, man.
I cannot believe I forgot how funny this movie is.! It is so ridiculously stupid but that's what makes it so great I could watch it over and over again and still find it funny.
These particular quotes are hilarious...The first time I set eyes on Mary Swanson, I just got that old fashioned romantic feeling where I'd do anything to bone her...Austria! Well, then. G'day mate! Let's put another shrimp on the barbie! And ...Why you going to the airport, flying somewhere?
Im not a huge fan of comedies but this is just comedy at its best, and I love it.!
Mary: So you'll pick me up tonight at seven forty-five?
Harry: Well I got a few things to take care of. So how about we make it quarter to eight?
Mary: [Laughs] Stop it
Harry: Okay. Seven forty-five
Sam Witwicky: Hello? 911 emergency. My car's been stolen! I'm in pursuit! I need the whole squadron, bring everyone! No, no don't ask any questions, my father's the head of the neighbourhood watch!
Fantastic special effects and stunning action sequences then again this is what we have come to expect from Michael Bay. Shia LeBeouf is fantastic and refreshing to watch if not at times hilarious, in contrast Megan Fox is annoying throughout then again I doubt she was cast for her great 'acting' abilities, while the rest of the cast are reasonable but watchable.
With no great plot, it is mainly made up of action and humour but why should that be a bad thing? Movies do not have to be serious all the time to be enjoyed. The plot needs to be stupid at times its partly why it is more enjoyable, entertaining and most importantly fun - so don't take it so seriously.!
Overall, not bad...a lot better than what I was expecting to see, kept me entertained throughout definitely something I would be watching again.!
Sam Witwicky: It's a robot. You know, like a super advanced robot. It's probably Japanese. Yeah, it's definitely Japanese.
Richard: There's two kinds of people in this world, there's winners and there's losers. Okay, you know what the difference is? Winners don't give up.
Initially I was not expecting much from this but now I finally know what all the fuss was about with this movie...it was a pleasant surprise and I have to say I absolutely loved it.
And what's not to love? Every aspect of the movie is great, its original, hilarious, wacky and touching.
Olive: I'd like to dedicate this to my grandpa, who showed me these moves.
Pageant MC: Aww, that is so sweet.
[Audience applauds]
Pageant MC: Is he here? Where's your grandpa right now?
Olive: In the trunk of our car.
Everyone's performance was superb particularly Abigail Breslin as Olive, im not surprised she got an Oscar nomination too bad she missed out. Steve Carrel was also fantastic who knew he could actually act. Carrel definitely proves he doesn't have to play the over the top funny man all the time and I hope he does a few more roles like this even though a few times I was expecting him to do something ridiculous he was great to watch and made Frank the suicidal gay professor believable.
Overall, I would definitely be watching this again and I would recommend it to everyone.
A Must See.!
Grandpa: Losers are people who are so afraid of not winning, they don't even try.
