A good sci-fi with an original story. Rockwell does well in this role and gives quite an intense performance. I also enjoyed Kevin Spacey's voice as GERTY, the robot.

The Cabin in the Woods is definitely original, but after watching you may be asking yourself "What did I just watch?". The mix of horror and comedy worked in some instances and failed in many others. A lot of the plot and story seemed slapped together, especially the ending. I can't understand why the ratings would be this high on a film of such low quality. Being original or breaking genre boundaries cannot justify a bad film.
