The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de Motocicleta) 2003, R)
This is one of my favorite films and excels at 2 levels. First Gael does a fantastic job portraying the legendary Ernesto Che Guevara in his early years as a medical student. Does not fall in the cheap politic slogan and shows the profound social concern of his character. Second, the film shows outstanding landscapes of the beautiful Latin America and I'm sure many people would like to visit after watching this movie. Fantastic!! |
