Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior 1981, R)
Another great post apocolyptic film. A classic, and one I think deserves a place in a vault for preservation, just in case a nuke drops. The rowdy villians drive stripped cars, and bikes and their leader wears a metal hockey mask. And don't forget about the big chase scenes. |

Pan's Labyrinth 2006, R)
Another favorite film for 2007. Don't let the idea of subtitles deter you from this movie. This is an amazing story. Not for the kiddies, though. |

They are not zombies and they no longer behave like humans. They run fast and kill you by beating you to death, and that scares the shit out of me. |

I enjoyed this movie. The first time I watched it, I thought it was an unusual form of filmmaking. The movie began as a documentary and morphed into a shockingly intense film. I loved it! |

American Psycho 2000, R)
High society yuppie with a taste for murder. The best moments are when he talks about Phil Collins while getting ready for sex, and his phone conversation to his lawyer. The book is a lot more graphic and wordy. I've read it twice. |
