Great, innovative film. Funny even if it is about drug addicts in Scotland. Even the soundtrack kicks all kinds of ass!

I LOVE this film. It has many layers and the acting is great. Even Jim Carrey does a wonderful job.

One of my faves. Very fun and uplifting. I always put this DVD in the player when I need a cheering up. It never fails to make me feel happy about life.

This film is now one of my favorites. It is so beautiful in the love story and Ben Whishaw does a wonderful acting job as John Keats. A true tragic love story and quite thrilling in how it captures falling in love. It also made me want to sit down and truly understand poetry. I highly recommend this film to people who enjoy historical fiction with tragic love as it's centerpiece.

The Bride kicks ass! O-Ren also is beautifully evil! Violent yet it is stylized violence...much like a comicbook...so it doesn't grose me. Definitely a good film...all about revenge. The swordfights are cool, the music is cool, everything is cool.

Very funny in a strange way. You will either love it, or hate it.

This film is funny, touching, and sweet at the same time. Clement plays a guy who is is emotionally 9 years old...in how he reacts to situations, people, and his interests. "Jarrod" (Clement) won't admit he is a loser, he is a champion of the world in his own mind Horsley is the girl who falls in love with him....and finally meets him at a party and starts a relationship with him after stalking him. He takes her with him to his hometown so he can "kill' the bully who bullied him all while growing up. Weirdness happens there and a bit of saddness as well. The film is very off-beat but also every well-done. I think we all know a guy like Jarrod and hope that the guy meets a person like Horsley's girl.

I was not disappointed with this movie by Inarritu, who is one of my favorite directors. All the actors did wonderful performances and I was fully involved in the story as a viewer. Rinko Kikuchi is a real standout as the deaf-mute girl who is sexually acting out due to issues involved with her mother's death and because she feels so isoalted from the world in her deafness. I actually forgot Brad Pitt was Brad Pitt in this movie his performance is so good. Definitely a film I would recommend!

A great film with wonderful cinematography.

Very beautiful film that nails the feeling of being an outsider.

This film both awed and depressed me. It is a stunning film with lots of great camera work and a great storyline. Cuaron proves again he is a great director and is not afraid of taking chances when it comes to films. It had me a bit depressed because the world could very well become the world of the film. Definitely a must see....and it will not bore you with it's constant action and tension in the story.

An under-rated movie. Very good and a decent adaption of the book.

The BEST Star Wars film!

A very interestingly filmed movie that shows how a little girl's misunderstanding of a situation ruined people's lives. The ending really is sad...and worth sitting through this slow-moving but good movie to see. It's basically a film about a child's mistake that ruins the lives of her sister and the man her sister loves...and how she carries the guilt through her life for something that happened when she was 11/12.

The BEST version of Pride and Prejudice! Ignore the newest version, and the old black/white version, and view this one if you want to see a good adaption of the book!

I know I am late to the game with this film....I didn't see it when it was out in theatres...and it is not historically correct....but DAMN this movie is cool.

The visuals were yummy and it was full of graphic novel looking shots. Yes, it is very violent but it is very "unreal" violence so I was able to sit through it without squirming.

I may have to buy this movie on DVD and I recommend it to anyone who likes action films, graphic novels, or really beautifully put together films since it is in a visual style unlike the style of most films out there.

Go out and rent it now!

This film was beyond cool. I loved the fact it was in the language of the Maya and the story. It had some violent stuff take place but then, it is a primative society and human sacrafice was going on during this time period. The chase after the main character escapes and runs to get back to his pregnant wife and child keeps the viewer riveted, at least it kept me watching. Beautifully filmed and you care about every single character because there was just enough set up of even minor characters in the film to make you feel for them when everything goes to hell for them.

Words can not describe how much I love this film. It is a bit hard to get into the first viewing yet fascinates you. It is the second viewing that wins your heart.

I love the use of Shakespeare's language from the pllay in the modern-day setting. Great editing and great acting on the part of all the actors in the film. Love the cinematography as well.

The hand touching the wheat in his field as the main chacter walks through them is a thing of beauty! Violent, bloody, yet very moving and beautiful.

I really enjoyed this film! I loved the style it was shot in and the characters. Bardem did an excellant job as a hitman who was obviously mental. Loved his air gun. I even loved the ending because it summed up the whole essence of the story...that you "ride to meet your fate" in life. Just an all around great film with great acting by the entrire cast. It deserved it's Oscar win.

I really enjoyed this film. It was a very interesting story of a young man who decides to break from society and live in the wild, without money. It doens't have a happy ending but that is fine. It is based off a true story and now I really want to read the book. Emile Hirsch is a really good actor and I need to check out more of his films.

This movie made me cry. Highly under-rated and truly a moving film.

The first spider-man movie and great introduction to this character. Love the way it showed Peter Parker getting used to his powers.

A great, classic, screwball comedy. Definitely one of the best classic films with many funny moments.

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I had expected a huge mess due to the poor reviews it received but it is a fairy tale for adults and quite good. I found myself wondering what would happen next and was satisfied with the way the film unfolded. It was like watching a childhood book unfold on the screen. Paul Giamatti's acting even made me cry at one point while I watched the film. Definitely worth a viewing but remember to tap into the 12 year old child inside yourself as you watch.

A film for people who love movies with every cell of their body and more. Consider yourself a film buff? See this film...if you havent' already.

What can I say...it's a true classic, Audrey Hepburn's best character, will make you cry, and has great storyline. Most people have this as a favorite when it coems to classic films and I am no different. It is a true classic and one to add to the personal DVD library.

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. So many people have bad-mouthed it but it was actually a very enjoyable film to watch. Loved the "new romantic/new wave" soundtrack which is connected to the fact that a lot of the bands from the early 80s idealized the time period this film was set in and Coppola was going up in that time period so made the muscial conenction. Love Dunst as Marie...she did a wonderful job at convaying the isolation and emotion her character felt being an Austrian in a French court. The cinematography was beauitful as was the colour palette used in the film. Very stylized film that likens the decadance of the French court to the punk rock/new wave years of more recent history. Definitely worth a view.

Very sweet film. Well acted. Bill Nighy brings the funny. My one of my favorite Christmas films. Love is definitely all around us.

A very stylized film set in the future where "blade runners" kill "replicants" who come back to earth from other planets where earth has colonies. Great visuals and acting. Rutger Hauer's speech before his death rocks my world. Weird but worth a watch.

I thought I would hate this film because I am not a fan of chick "flicks" instead...I ended up realy liking it. It is very moving and I used up half a kleenix box while watching the movie. Great performances by Swank and Butler so you really care about their characters.

I LOVED this movie!!!! Gyllenhaal and Hathaway did a great acting job and had great chemistry. I totally believed the characters and the process they went through to fall in love. I am definitely buying this film on DVD which means I really enjoyed the film and would watch it again.
