Fa Yeung Nin Wa (In the Mood for Love) 2000,  PG)
Fa Yeung Nin Wa (In the Mood for Love)
epic in its claustraphobic depiction of a failing affair. As beautiful as it is bittersweet. a tour de force in the cinema as modern art. Wong kar wai, takes what is the simplest of stories and creates a world of tension, of such delicacy, that u cannot help but being sucked into the lives of the protagonists. as engaging as cinema gets.

Garden State
First time director Zach Braff somehow manages to avoid all the cliches of the the coming of age/mid life crisis movies.
He manages to keep his chracters believable and sympathetic, whilst allowing his strory to take subtle comic twists.

The Bourne Supremacy
Following Identity was always going to be difficult, however Supremacy takes it inits stride and delivers a story so wrapped up in intrigue and action that it is easily as good as its predecesor.
the change in director gives it a rawer edge. Damon remains amazing as Bourne (he just looks pure ragin the whole way thru it).
