The Other Boleyn Girl
I knew before I saw this movie I was in love with it; I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Natalie Portman made a great Anne Boleyn, seeing her as the villian was a nice change. I felt that she showed different dimensions to Anne's personality. Kristen Scott Thomas as the mother was right on target. The film was not exactly historically accurate but who cares, it was an entertaining film.

The Devil Wears Prada
Loved this movie to death, it did the book justice. Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt were both at home in their roles and were hilarious. Anne Hathaway was perfect to be Andie. All in all I'd say The Devil Wears Prada is my favorite movie and want the whole wardrobe to be mine.

Twilight
I really loved this film. Most of the characters were how I pictured them as I was reading the book. I was happy with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as Bella and Edward, they had good chemistry and Rachelle Lefevre was the perfect Victoria. Though I must admit there were some cheesy scenes and I was disappointed when I saw some of my favorite parts from the book absent from the movie (no blood typing scene and a bit too little on the Cullens). But there's no way a movie can be totally true to a reader's vision of it and I feel Hardwicke did a good job. I can't wait to see the rest of the series on the big screen.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age
I've been looking forward to seeing this film for ages, and now after seeing it I wasn't disappointed. Sure it wasn't very political, but not like I care. This movie was entertaining and held my interest. Cate Blanchett was not as strong as in the 1998 film though I still feel she gave a good performance. I felt the other Elizabeth (aka Bess) played by Abbie Cornish stole the show in general (I'd be hoping for an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress for her perfomance). Another scene stealer was Samantha Morton as Mary Queen of Scots. The costumes were as expected to be, rather impressive and though the film was not completely in touch with historical facts, it still was a very good film.
