I still remember, seeing this in the cinema, being scared like never before as the T-Rex came onto the screen. The effects were more realistic than anything Hollywood had done before. Still today, it's breathtaking. One of my all time favourite movies.
A masterpiece - even though you really can't watch it without thinking about the musical starring Troy McClure (damn I want to see that). Includes damn dirty apes.
probably the best remake ever made, and one of my all time favourite movies. very 80s, but not overly - fantastic cast, perfectly directed, grand on gore, co-written by frank darabont... just perfect.
One of my all time favorite films. Grand performances by all - of course the star is Kathy Bates who is fantastic in an Oscar wining role. Suspenseful, character driven, fantastic. Includes, that scene.
There is a reason why it won the Academy Award for "Best Movie Ever Made." It rocks, just like the Queen songs that are in it. Here is an idea, instead of watching the six vacuous sequels that followed it; watch this one six times!
A terrific classic suspense slasher. One of the all time greatest. Michael Myers is terrifying, Donald Pleasence is sublime as the terrified Sam Loomis and of course, Jamie Lee Curtis was the Scream Queen.
the greatest movie ever that involves traveling back to the future, even though it includes that one scene where michael j fox sings like a 40 year old man.
the greatest action movie ever starring john cusack. nick cage in his prime as a fish-out-of-water soldier who accidentally killed a guy, stuck in a plane overtaken by a... what the fudge, that's dave chapelle!
One of my all time favorite comedies. Watched it over and over when I was younger. Griffith, Cusack and Weaver where all nominated for Oscars, also the director and best movie - but only the song Let the River Run won.
a blood curdling movie about FBI agents investigating a ku-klux-klan involved murders, with a no-holds-barred approach. fantastic cast and a great movie all around.
