One of the best fantasy movies of all time, and it is a movie that will never be removed from my "favorites". An excellent fairy tale. Also, I wanted the Goblin King to love me when I was young. |

Repo! The Genetic Opera 2008, R)
OMFG this movie is fantastic. Substantially better than I was worried it would be. Anthony Head is amazing as the Repo Man. The look of the film is great, and many of the scenes left me gaping or clutching the armrests. I already want to watch it again. There are some plot issues, but this is a film you just have to enjoy. |

Stardust 2007, PG-13)
This is a wonderful movie. It has an amazing cast who all turn in great performances; I'm especially fond of Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert DeNiro in this, and the lead plays it very well. This is probably my favorite romantic fantasy film next to The Princess Bride. The film really has a good look to it, and while the ultimate resolution may be predictable, it remains enjoyable and humorous. |
