The Hours 2002,  PG-13)
The Hours
There are times when we find ourselves in psychologically and emotional crisis. Suddenly everything seems so meaningless and hopeless, that we reach a crossroad, where the only question is, what choice one makes. Life or Death...... If we choose death, we go towards something unseen and uncertain. Though, we don't know what lies on the other side, we are tempted to take a step towards the unknown just to escape our known pains. But if we choose life, we have to stay here with what we are going through and face the hours......

LONESOME........

TORMENTING......

HOURS...........

The Hours is A Triumph..........

Zakhm (Wound) 1998,  Unrated)
Zakhm (Wound)
Some wounds can never be healed. And even if they do, they leave back scars. Zakhm is one such tale of love in midst of cold heartless hatered.
17
The Lives of Others 2006,  R)
The Lives of Others
One of those rare movies which doesn't leave the viewer's mind long after one has watched it.

Observes the transformations in human emotions and the the dillema in a man's mind so minutely that you can't help but give a standing ovation at the end of it.

One of my all time favourites...
18
Cidade de Deus (City of God) 2002,  R)
Cidade de Deus (City of God)
Fight and you'll never survive..... Run and you'll never escape

What strikes you at first sight about City of God is it?s camera work and cinematography. A gangster film and a colorful film cannot be the same film. However City of God begs to differ.

The movie is adapted from a book of the same name by Paulo Lins, who grew up in City of God and did somehow escape it's violent strokes.

City Of God has stuff classics are made of.
19
Atonement 2007,  R)
Atonement
Come to me....... Come back to me.........

That's what the movie tells you once you have seen it.

Innocent mistakes committed by a person can ruin lives around him / her in a million ways. Atonement is not as easy as one might think. The injuries caused on minds and souls can be irreversible.

There is only one word to describe Atonement, "Haunting" because it haunts the viewer with it's cinematography, characters and mosty of all it's climax. A movie to be watched over and over again.

Simply Brilliant....
