My Favorite Movies

  1. Romei
  2. Robin

I love Taxi Driver and a lot of more underground movies. I really enjoyed watching citiizen cane and pulp fiction recently. Ocean's 11 was awesome. I like sophistication in cinema, especially through character interaction and personnas. For this reason several Jack Nicholson movies as well as Clint Eastwood keep me in awe of the silver screen. I love movies set in the 1980's such as The Beverly Hills Cop Series, as a lot of time I think they help you gain contextural and social understandings of countries, most notably the USA during these periods in history. Watching The Breakfast Club recently fascinated me because of the undertone of fragility found in the piece and the idea that the passing of the students is that of something temporary and indefinite and I found an association between that and my own school life.

Classics like Rocky inspired my youth and I am thankful for that. I also love Escape from New York and Total Recall both of which show the future environment in different and intellectual ways.
