Hope Springs
There are so many reasons I love this film, its witty, its warm, it has great performances and it is so feel good.
And it features the lovely Heather Graham and the always excellent Minner Driver, in her best role to date.

Breaking Away 1979,  PG)
Breaking Away
A film about a guy that wants to win a bike race, doesn't sound too good, but it is a real feel good movie. Peter Yates went on to make other decent films, but this was probably his best

Get Over It
I am clearly not part of the target audience for this film, but I love it. From the title scene leaving the garage it start funny and, thanks to the wonderful Martin Short, stays funny.
Give it a go

Grosse Pointe Blank
All time great film. Brilliant *****

Stardust 2007,  PG-13)
Stardust
Magical. Excellent acting especially from Charlie Cox, well written and adapted, nice special effects which were done on the cheap, but didn't look it and all in all a splendid love story.
I actually work next door to Stormhold (or at least Stowe School where they filmed the final scenes)

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo.)
I am not a particular fan of the Western, but there is so much more to this excellent film. Beautiful camera work, wonderful editing and first class direction make it a must see classic
