Pan's Labyrinth
This was one of the best movies I have seen in my entire life. Long after seeing it, I am thinking about it over and over again. Although sometimes difficult to watch and take, this movie conveys universal themes. I cannot recommend this movie more strongly.

Children of Men
This is a great movie - not Bladerunner great, but still great. After seeing it I'm still thinking about it. There were plot points that were just too convenient and not believable, which is why I don't give it a full 5 stars, but it deserves a lot of credit for creativity and thought.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan 2008,  PG-13)
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
I found myself laughing FAR harder than I was supposed to laugh during this hilarious Adam Sandler movie. Now more than ever, I love everything that Judd Apatow touches, and I'm a devotee of Adam Sandler. I loved the corny Jewish-Arab humor, the silly plot and the hilarious execution. I'm still giggling from Mariah Carey's cameo: "I love you too, short horny guy!" Come ON, how can you not love this film?
