I've seen a lot of great movies this summer, but this is the first one that made me feel this amazing!!! All the storylines are so great!! As a fan of feel-good movies I can only hope to write something this great someday.
I first saw the trailer for this film almost two years ago and pretty much instantly knew I was going to love it. Two long years later, I've finally seen it and it was everything I had expected and more! Such a cute story and I loved the set/costume design! Plus, James McAvoy's character was dreamy, and Reese Witherspoon was spunky and amazing as a vespa-driving delivery woman. And, of course, Christina Ricci was endearing as Penelope.
I loved it as much as I thought I would! I will admit, the article concept has been done many times before, but this movie is just so cute! (And I'm not just talking about James Marsden). Seriously.
My favorite so far:) The DA sequence was just as amazing as Michael Goldenberg described it! Loved the edgier tone and going with a different composer? Genius.
Although I didn't enjoy visiting the city itself, this movie makes Paris look so amazing! And the cooking was so fun to watch, not to mention the way they made Remy look so adorable! Loved the short they played before it too. Definitely a must-see!
My favorite of the three. I love all of the battle scenes! Although I do remember sitting in the theater as the movie got closer and closer to the end and waiting for the giant spider to show up...
Pixar can do no wrong. Every single movie they've made, I've loved. WALL-E is adorable! And his relationship with EVE is so sweet, I think I actually cried at one point...
The storyline was less complex than I was expecting, but it was still awesome! The violence, the action, all amazing. I really loved the style of the film, I will definitely be looking out for more by this director!
Definitely one of my favorite movies of the summer (after Harry Potter, of course). The music is amazing and the script is hilarious!!! Okay, f that. It's my favorite movie of ALL time.
One of my all-time favorite chick flicks. I normally dislike Jack Black, but this was one of his finest moments...and Jude Law was perfection. Nancy Meyers is my hero:)
It made me laugh and it made me cry. Steve Carell did an amazing job and the music was incredible! I'm actually in the process of buying the soundtrack on iTunes right now....
Watching this movie was as comforting as reading the book. They're different in so many ways, but the film captures the cozy, loving feeling you get when reading the book. At first I was doubtful of Hilary Swank playing Holly, but she did an amazing job! I can't wait to see it again:)
Didn't think I would like a western film, but ended up LOVING it! The acting was amazing, and the ending drew actual tears (which doesn't happen easily). Definitely one of my favorites this year...and of all time.
I just watched this again for the first time in probably five years and my mind was completely blown. This is seriously as kick-ass as an action film can get. Amazing.
One of the best book adaptations I've seen. They added a few things (Captain Shakesphere, genius!) but, unlike in most adaptations, it totally worked! So amazing!
Everything about this film was amazing! The location, the acting, the story, the cinematography, the soundtrack, all amazing! A hilarious romantic comedy:)
