21 Jump Street was nothing like the TV series that I remember. The upside of it would be that it's pretty funny satire and when it started making fun of the idea in making this movie got me hooked. The role reversal of stereotypes for Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum (as the nerd and the jock) was pretty entertaining. Last but not least, the cameo appearance by Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise (from the original TV series) was just the icy on the top. Recommended

Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles

If only Director Zhang Yimou could do more of such movies and less of those that are catered for the American audience. Together with Ken Takakura, Director Zhang painted a beautiful and touching tale of forgiveness with Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles. This is one journey that I would like to take over and over again.
