Talk about a total surprise. I threw it on at 2am trying to get to sleep. Well, I certainly didn't sleep. Peter Faulk is a fricking comic mastermind! It's one of the best comedic performances I've seen. He is so straight and certain and Arkin is, well, not. What a pair. I'd love to see these two in the Odd Couple.

believe it or not, this is actually a cleaver twist on the... twisted hillbilly slaughter-fest. This time around it's the college douchebags that are messed, but messed from watching the exact same films that vilified murderous hillbillies (sorry Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but it's your fault). The style IS the Evil Dead franchise, so that might throw some people off, but take it with a grain of salt and have a great fawkin' laugh.
