The Point
I remember falling in love with this record first,as young as 3 years old, sitting on the floor looking at all the pictures and story line in the inside of the album cover. I played it over and over and over, my favorite song "Me and my Arrow" considering I was inseparable from my own dog at the time. Soon after, I saw the movie and the movie has since held a place in my memory, life, and heart as one of my all time favorite movies. As I gained maturity and insight into the deeper political meaning behind it's theme, it didn't surprise me that I inherently loved this classic animation straight out of the womb so to speak. I have to give it 5 stars for the nostalgic connection I have to this movie.

Into the Wild
"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."
