When Harry Met Sally
My favorite movie ever! This is the king of romantic comedies! I haven't met a man or a woman who didn't laugh at least a dozen times while watching this movie. Filled with one liners, it gives a laughable look at dating and friendship, and if you can in fact have both.

Love Actually 2003,  R)
Love Actually
A look at love from all sides of the spectrum: falling in love, looking for a short-term love, being in love with the wrong person, and falling out of love. Love is messing with everyone's life in this movie, from adults to children, and this little romantic comedy makes it all very entertaining.

Almost Famous 2000,  R)
Almost Famous
Cameron Crowe has created another great movie, this time taking you through the trials and tribulations of William Miller and his eye-opening experience as a journalist for Rolling Stone magazine. You can't help but fall in love with this movie. Kate Hudson and Patrick Fugit are both phenomenal in this movie. A great look into the ups and downs of the rock and roll life and the people who are a part of it.

Little Miss Sunshine 2006,  R)
Little Miss Sunshine
Love, love, love this movie about the dysfunctional Hoover family! The subtle and not-so-subtle humor in this movie make it hilariously entertaining!
5
The Breakfast Club 1985,  R)
The Breakfast Club
An absolute 80's classic! I have seen this movie more times than any other and while I think this is more entertaining for a child of the 80's, I think that anyone will find a character they can relate to in The Breakfast Club. Plus, you cannot help but quote this movie again and again thanks to Judd Nelson's angst-driven character. Everyone should see this film at least once.

Garden State 2004,  R)
Garden State
This is one indie movie that I was really impressed by. The script was definitely genius and the casting of Zach Braff and Natalie Portman worked very well, even though I normall am not a big fan of Natalie Portman. Zach Braff's character gave a good look into the little things in life that we let pass us by and the trouble that we can have letting go of our emotions and allowing ourselves to feel something beyond our daily routine. Combined with what I truly believe to be one of the most amazing soundtracks ever, Garden State is a must see.
