This isn't just a movie... it's an experience! This is probably the mecca of all Batman films though I believe most of Batman's prior films were great this one clearly blows every other comic book-inspired movie away! Definate kudos to Christopher Nolan for doing this film. The Dark Knight is entertaining for the nostalgic Batman fans who want to see Batman's legacy continue, for the new generation of Batman fans, and for the skeptics who believed this film and Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker would be a failure. It's been said a million times already but I must say for myself that Heath Ledger blew me away! I didn't think he could do it but it was amazing to see how much he brought to the role. He literally hides behind the Joker and does it so well he's almost completely unidentifiable. Ledger was the greatest contribution to this movie. Trust me, this is the only movie I've ever seen that lived up to its hype. It's an overall fascinating and entertaining movie even for those who are not Batman fans. See this movie as soon as possible!

One of my favorite movies of all time. This non-stop, action-filled piece of brilliance stars the lovely Natalie Portman and along with Hugo Weaving who you might know as Mr. Smith from the Matrix Trilogy. I'll start with what I think is the only down side of this film. Upon watching it for the first time it tends to go over people's heads for either one of both of these reasons: 1) You are so distracted by V's theatrically entertaining character and/or 2) You get very lost trying to catch up in it's complicated plot. The good news is that even in its horrific story telling you find a lot of strength developing in its characters like Evey (Portman) who goes from being a fragile victim of the corrupt government to being molded into an instrument of V's anarchy while facing her own fears that developed in her early childhood. I highly recommend this film. It is a film I never got tired of watching.
