My Favorite Movies

Very powerful movie at its best. Great actors and actresses throughout involving the role of Meg Ryan who supports the role of Anthony Edwards wife.My opinion the best line in the whole film "Goose take me to bed or loose me forever" classic romantic chick flick that shone in the 80s with a little (or some ) male testerone chucked in with it. Absouloutly love this film.

1970s story of Rock n Roll,Kate Hudson Patrik Fugit, Jason Lee,Francis McDormand amoung others give outstanding performances that in my opinion give this the best film of 2000. Kate Hudson as the role of Penny lane shone throughout the movie, also as great music throughout the movie and one of the best rock film in my opionion ever. Loved the story and the film.

A film based in the 60s about a shy young girl "Baby"(Jennifer Grey), who goes on a holiday camp with her family falls in love your typical chick flick but this film goes beyond that for me. Brilliant "dirty dancing" involved in the film as Patrick Swayze is the boy she falls for. Great Soundtrack and a filom loved by millions. Outstanding chick flick

All time classic, great actors/actresses including Demi Moore, Whoopi Goldberg (whom won a Oscar for this.) Swayze had already made a name for himself in Dirty Dancing but Golbergs role had us in stiches. The famous potters wheel with Unchained melody will be famous throughout the world. Stoyline Swayze dies...... Comes back as Ghost with Goldberg as a psycic helping out Moore, Very powerful scenes throughout that in my opinion was so emotionally acted had me in tears, classic chick flick

Tom Cruise and Bryan Brown as two cocktail waitors, testerone flying everywhere, sort of a chick flick with good locations and sountrack that turned in to a bit of a drame for my liking, Bryan Brown stole the show for me. Had some romantic scenes but not enough. a good 80s chick flick

Richard Gere and Julia Roberts chemistry in this fil shone throughout, Typical chick flick and women wishing to find the rich man in which Gere was. Hooker(Vivian) Roberts, finds the happy ending she always wanted. Edward being a lonely buissness man asks for directions off a hooker, falls in love very typical Cinderella story line. Very good soundtrack and screen play in my eyes not enough funny or comical parts in thier for me. One of my favourite films of all time needless to say chick flick my kind of film.

I really enjoyed this teen flick romantic comedy, its full of love as you have Bianca Statford(Larisa olynek) whom is in a dileema about a family rule forbidding her from dating until her older "tomboy" sister (Julia Stiles) Kat gets a boyfriend of her own. A film on sister rivalry romance and comedy. Good set of actors/actresses especially Heath Ledger he shone as always and so did Styles. Good story and screenplay totally loved this film.Good ending to it and good music.

Loved this Hippy style film, loved the roles of Jason Londonand Matthew McConaughey. The film looks at stoners, freshman, nerds, jocks in the summer of a high school well a night. A little like now of American Pie, I loved this film and had a great story to it and well directed. Fresh faced actors who have become huge successfull stars joking and acting about. The outcome of the film is basically whom ever you are nobodys perfect. Great soundtrack to the film.

Think this film was very overrated. Story based on a girl trying to live her dream of writing music and scared to perform,Piper Perado was good in the film and had a good connection with Garcia the love interest. Proberbly more of a chick flick than anything, some good songs came from this movie. Perado as a Coyote table top dancing dad hates her doing it falls in love gets her dream job simple story but good to watch.

The Sanchez boys Dainton Prichard,Joyce and Pancho go to the next level of the pain barrier but loved this pain fettish film. Seeing Jackass as just thought in my eyes crap as the Welshman proove to be much tougher and do things to the next step from Jackass boys.

Coming of age comedy about a group of high schoolers trying to loose their virginity before prom night, a nintys version of "Porkys".A outrageous way of life and relations of thier own lives regarding relationships with each other and the opposite sex, and how they relate to the way of sex,Well written and some good one liners, that had me laughing out loud. Jason Biggs is superb in my eyes with the comedy dance and Sean William Scott was also the comedy genious that he is and acted. Teen comedy that has had people talk about for years on Loved this movie and was well written and acted. Comedy at its best.

Perfect movie in my opinion couldent get any better. Loved the actors in it and Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins were superb. A tale with death litterally knocking on the door. So many emotions was running through me while watching it, great screenplay. Beautifully portraid movie and had some great quotes in it. loved the firework scene at the end. Absouloutly fantastic movie , cant beleive its 10 years ago.

Abrilliant comedy film. Ahigh School is stalked by a killer by the pupils favourite scary movies, fantastically written, thinking somebody is out to get them as a certain group of pupils made a pact last summer when they acciedently ran a man over and killed him, a classicly spoof of scary movies Keenan Ivory Wayans has done a fantastic job in directing the movie, Ilaughed from beginning to end, In my opinion the scary movie spoofs of 1 to 5 just dont come close to funny as the first and origanal one of this. This movie is for late teen students as a lot of pot smoking comedy scenes. My favourite bit Miss Manns ball sack just that makes me laugh. Enjoyed this movie and could watch it over and over. I love the shrek films and love the Actors / actresses involved in the ogre style animated comedys. Eddie Murphy, Mike Myres, Cameron Diaz, John Lithgow are comedy geniouses and the directors faboulous, The ogre (Myres) in order to regain his swamp, travells along with a annoying donkey (Murphy) to bring a princess to a scheming lord, wishing himself king. Excellent comedy in my eyes animation is beyond excellence. A**** for me.

"The Hills Have Eyes "is a story of a family road trip that goes terrifyingly wrong, when the travelers become stranded in a government atomic testing zone, miles from nowhere the Carters soon realize the seemingly uninhabitated wasteland is actually the breeding ground of a blood_thirsty mutant family and the Carters are the prey........ This film isnt normally what id watch but very suprisingly i did like it, thought the storyline was excellent and had loads of blood and gore in it.Alexandre Aja did a good job in directing this.

The Jackass team does again for me, loved it and all get special recommendation from me, Johnny Knoxville, Steve_O, Weeman,Bam Magara,Chris Pontious,Dave England,Preston Lacey, Ryan Dunn. Was funnier than Jackass The Movie, but wouldent say this kind of filming is a movie. Still like Dirty Sanchez more though, but these guys are fun to watch and go past the boundiers of humour. Hope there is a third as highly recommended by myself.

Loved this film Seth Rogan is at his best for me in the comedy side. A 24 year old girl Alison Scott (Katherine Heigl) a entertaiment journolist whos life is on fast_track, but a drunken one_night stand by slacker Ben Stone (Seth Rogan) ends up in pregnancy its kind of un_wanted! I laughed out loud at this film, director Judd Apatow as done a excellent job as well as the actors/actresses involved. Seth Rogan with Jonah Hill just comedy at its best. Good storyline and a few lessons in life.

I enjoyed this film was funny in places in which Viola Hastings (Amanda Bynes) disguises herself as her twin brother Sebastian (James Kirk) even enrolling herself in his boarding school to show people she could play with the boys football team but ends up falling in love with the room_mate Duke(Channing Tatum). Good teen chick flick and had some good comedy scenes especially from Vinny Jones as the football coach.

Really loved this film, nice romantic which gets my vote, Cameron Crowe does it again,while oscar_nominated Tom Cruise was superb. Jerry Maguire is a sports agent for top class sportsmen,hes a bloke that people like energetic entusiastic,Jerry then begins to think there is something wrong with what hes doing, and gets fired in the long run wanting his so called friends to go in to a buiseness with him only for the one person Dorothy (Zellweger) to go with him a single mother who is secretly in love with him un known to him. With the only one player whos with him Rod Tidwell(Cuba Gooding Jnr) whos arrogence leads him to not many people tolerating him, his pride gets in the way of his potential. The film is basically a story of Stick with whats in your heart, i think the chemistry of Cruise and Zellweger is totally beleivable and the story is fantastic to and superbly directed too.

At the start of a new year 32 year old Bridget, decides its time to take control of her life and begins to keep a diary. Now the most provocative, erotic and hysterical book is by her bedside table and the one she is writing,she as a opinion on ever subject involving adventure, sex, men, excersise , food! I wasent keen on the film but dont get me wrong good actors and actresses involved and they all shone, but not a good chick flick in my eyes.

Agreat film, not only for the actresses and actors involved but a truely inspiring film of 1997 and what technology can do, a favourite film of mine and cried buckets but dont know who didnt. Thought Leoanardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet together was so deeply involved and worked in awe of each other. Magnificent effects and proberbly the best directed film ever, by James Cameron. Truely one of the greatest films ever of the decade, beautiful and eligant soundtrack, which won loads of awards. Brilliant

Love Drew Barrymore romantic films and for me this was one of the best with the comedy aspect in there too. Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) is scared of commitment until he meets beautiful Lucy (Drew Barrymore) they really hit it off and henry beleives hes found the girl of his dreams but Lucy has short term memory loss and completly forgets him the next day..... The chemistry between Barrymore and Stiller worked fantastic with the romantic side and comedy side, also had a great storyline. Good directing in Peter Segal and good cast selection. love the film sweet and cute parts thrown in too.

A major breakthrough for the actors in this film Cuba Gooding Jnr and Ice Cube, and John Singletons first major picture. Aghetto film based in the bronx quite a sad film around the lives and upbringing of 3 young American teens one struggling with love and the world of his father, the other a gang member whom is thought of as a no gooder and the other a rising athlete with the world at his feet. This film also follows the parents and how they raise thier siblings, the single mother (Angela Bassett)raising her two boys and the single father (Laurence Fishbourne). A story of Violence and gangs with gritty storyline. Well directed and written loved this film.

Thre women Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore,and Lucy Lui are detectives with there mysterious boss. Martial arts voice id software, tech skills and sex appeal on this action, comedy film. I liked this film but it was like they tried to hard as it was full of cheesiness, Rockwell and Glover did there best in my opinion and its worth watching and good soundtrack, just tried a little to hard!

Im an old romantic and this film was absouloutly brilliant for the romantic side and also had me laughing too. A journolist (Drew Barrymore) enrolls in her old high school as part of research for her paper but ends up falling for the teacher, she becomes popular and in with the in_crowd and leaves the geeky un popular Josie behind. Cute chick flick and Barrymore in my eyes is excellent in the role. Comedy aspect David Arquette does it for me. Loved it

Really loved this film, had a wide range of cast including Val Kilmer and Brad Pitt who for me stole the show. Written by Tarintino in blood and gritty violence. Slater and his imaginary friend Elvis is accoumpanied by his girlfriend Alabama(Patricia Arquette) go on to try and sell a suitcase full of cocaine to leave their past behnd and start afresh. Pitt is halirous as a Stoner! Good film with gore and gritty scenes. Loved the romantic side to it great film.

I loved this film, made me all emotinal (sad i know lol). Christiphor Walken made this movie but had a really intesifiying story about a family trapped down a air raid shelter and been there for 35 years. A very moving moment from fraser when he sees the sea sand and water, Silverstone is a good actress in this in my opinion and a good love interst for Fraser. A good sweet romantic comedy for me set in the 60s and now. Directed fairly good from Hugh Wilson. I loved it

One of the first movies and sort of chick flick i watched. Rob Lowe star with Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves,Lowe as a newcomer in the Ice hockey team needs to excell, he as talent but missing something that holds him back such as a opposition or an injury,the story un folds in Lowe excelling, wins for the team, getting the girl. I liked this film as its a easy film to get involving ice hockey and great actors/actresses. Nice story and a bit of man action and testerone with the ice hockey,,,

Good action/romance in my eyes Patrick Swayze plays the hard man sexy Dalton in which he runs a bar and backs and runs the bouncers, He then takes a job in Road house which the pub is getting rough, his attemps to clean things up shakes and conflicts him with the towns bully and rich bloke Brad Wesley. bloody good film , good story and actors and actresses, good music by Jeff Healey

Excellent modern version of Dangerous Liasons and Valmont, Kathryn(Sarah Michelle Geller) making a bet with her step brother Sebastian (Ryan Phillippe) that he wont be able to break down the resolve of a virgin (Reese Witherspoon) who plans on remaining that way till marriage.If Sebastian wins he gets to have the one girl who he always wanted ....His Step Sister but things take a drastic twist with him actually falng for Witherspoon, loved this film so many twists, Good casting and good storyline.

I loved this film, could teach people a few lessons of its not whats on the outside of a person but whats in the inside, The shallow man(Jack Black) falls in love after getting hypnotised and thinking shes a beauty with a 300lb woman(Gwyneth Paltrow) for her inner beauty. Good romantic comedy which had me laughing and sometimes emotional. Brilliant storyline and excellent directored by the Farrelly brothers. I thought the chemistry between Black and Paltrow was amazing.

Amodern_day tale of Dickens tale in which young man (Ethan Hawke) leaves his priviliged up_bringing in Florida and heads to New York City to become an Artist. Along the way meets 3 disperate strangers a dangerous escaped convict,Estelle (Paltrow) a beautiful but icy woman and a wealthy old eccentric. Thought the story was amazing and the chemistry between the two lead roles was exceptional.
