This is a really good example of a good broadway musical adapted into a good film. They are not the same piece, nor SHOULD they be. The word "adaptation" implies change, and Director Bill Condon changed just enough to make this piece of theatre work really well on film. It also has a really strong supporting cast. The movie was just so much fun, too. |
